The Whole Studio Tan album is killer IMO. The Greggary Peccary suite is a beautiful piece of work IMO.
Everyone should listen to Greggory Peccary, there's some absolutely incredible musical moments in it.
Sometimes I think they're too much instruments, too much noises to handle at one time... But his musical geniality should be undoubted. ;) I like the violin solo, WOW! :D
WOW! Really??? How was it? This seemed to have been a hell of a show!! It's Zappa at his prime! Give us some details, will you?
I was there. Mmmmmmmmmmm
beautiful,
better than bliss heaven!
bliss
u r right, Studio Tan, Orchestral Favorites and Sleep Dirt really are some of the best Zappa's album. Recently produced "Wazoo" is great too ;)
Shit! Studio Tan was given away! I bought that, Orchestral favorites and Sleep Dirt for $1.99 each in Caldor's in 1978-79. Awesome albums, too. Makes one wonder what lives beneath the earth in THE VAULT...
Thanx so much for sharing... Why is this one only 5 mins...? Do you have the rest of this segment?? Thanx again.
still great
I remember buying this back in the 10th grade. Just an amazing, underrated album.
"Studio Tan" is a must for the Zappa enthusiast; one of the more lyrically innocuous of his works. Parts of Gregory Peccary are right out of a Stravinsky play-book
wow you emulate in allegro, adagio, andante , all in falsette . cheers!!! mr. soprano
Increible .......!!!!!!!
Only God .....
sublime
wow thanks for the vid.
Father O'Blivion is the 4th part of the Don't Eat The Yellow Snow Suite. Farther O'Blivion (this piece) is the basis for The Adventures of Greggery Peccary: 1st Movement.
