It’s no wonder that Texas cruiserweight champion Eric Molina’s appeal stretches across the Rio Grande Valley. In the main event of Friday night’s well-attended boxing show at Harlingen’s Casa de Amistad, Molina (10-0, nine knockouts) successfully defended his state title for the second time with a third-round technical knockout of Osvaldo Martinez (5-5-1, three KOs) of San Angelo.
