The history of the San Jacinto Valley includes world champion boxers. "It's hard to believe, but famous boxers like Muhammad Ali, Ken Norton, Armando Muniz and Jerry Quarry used to train here in Hemet," said Richard Perry, 44, who has an interest in the local history of boxing.
