is it good rushing a outboxer or a infighter

I'm not sure what you mean...Do you mean running at a guy trying to keep the fight at long range? Then, do you mean running at a guy running at you?
running at a guy.
In general, no. If you want to get inside you want to press him and be close enough that when the opening is there you can take advantage of it. If you shuffle forward as described in the "Footwork" post, and stay just a hair beyond the range of his jab you will force him to constantly move or to stand and exchange punches, which is what you want.
Now, as you press forward and he jabs you slip one and step in with a right to thew body you are now close to him and you didn't eat punches to get there. If he isn't giving enough to his jab for you to work with, catch it in your glove once or twice then lean in and take it high on the top of your head, maybe drop your left a bit so he throws a right. Then counter off of it. That is the essence of the game- make him give you what you want.
I hate counters its not my style.
I can't think of too many fighters that were great, or even very very good, that were not good counter-punchers. Who are your favorites, and what fighter is it that influences your style?
ur not supposed to rush ..your supposed to find the right time to throw a jab and then follow up w/ somthing so that you STEP into the inside ...u never just Rush in cause someone / even limited experience can just jab & move...u need to practice side to side head movement on your double end bag so that u can slip a punch ,go to the body and followw up w/ out getting hit
Defending and countering are two of the main things that seperate boxing from a bare knucle street fight...Originally Posted by Nekota G
Reminds of a little story. In the gym one day, thes trainer had a light/h who would become a champ. they had watched these two fighters sparring lightly. the trainer asked if his charge could spar with this fighter, all was agreed. The coach told his fighter to charge the other fighter and make a name for himself, the other guy being 2 weights below him. It was painfull to watch, the middle bashed the F;;;king Life out of him. the moral think before you act, the coach got the sack, and fighter had just been schooled by Mike Mc Cullam
Pain lasts a only a minute, but the memory will last forever....

is it good to rush in with a power punch i mean like a very fast dash in power punch
No ...a decent fighter can move back as fast as u can move forward ...youll get tired out or hit too much ....if u have a gym to spar at try it and see what happens
