Forrest beat the shit outta Mosley who also beat Oscar...Forrest was hella skilled...he just fought the wrong fight against Mayorga.

Mayorga is the new version of Vargas...Oscar & Tito battered him senseless.

Mayorga's a good boxer...but he fights stupidly. He tries to pull the dick out & he ends up being just a wild swinger wiith minimal skills.

Nah, I think it more shows that styles really do make fights

Cause if you go by that logic then you could say that Shane Mosley's a bum cause he lost to Vernon twice who's a bum cause he lost to Ricardo twice. And if Shane's a bum than that doesn't say good things about Oscar losing to him twice.

Vernon wasn't a bum, just a bad matchup and Mayorga got in his head a bit.

Its just a shame he is injury prone. I'm sure he has a couple of good wins left in him.

Forrest is a good fighter, but someone has your number. That person just happen to be Mayorga. IMO, Forrest won the second fight. It was close and the only reason Forrest lost is because he fought scared. He outlanded Mayorga and made him look like an amatuer. Too bad you could see the fear in Forrest's eyes. The judges did, and you're not going to get a win like that.

And Oscar really sucks for losing to Mosley!!!

And Julio Cesar Chavez much suck more then anything for getting destroyed by Oscar which is a whole other level of suckage!!!

So Cory Spinks must rule the world for beating Mayorga before both Oscar and Trinidad could get their sucky hands on him

forrest did have the power to keep mayorga off him....and in the second fight mayorga kept hitting vernon on the back of the head and never lost a point...not to mention that vernon should have won the decision anyway...but who cares about either of them....really

Yes they both got beat, but Vargas took it to Oscar unlike Mayorga, and had Oscar in trouble at times. Against Tito, Vargas got drilled in the first, but adapted against one of the best closers in history. Only to start winning a few rounds and pulling even. Mayorga was never winning either fight, where Vargas was at least close, and with a slight lead against Oscar. Vargas has at least the same power, with extremely more pure boxing skills. Alot of people think Winky was robbed, but consider either way, Vargas still boxed evenly for 12 rounds with an elite boxer, maybe the best. Mayorga is a warrior with a couple a key wins. Vargas is by far the better boxer. As of right now, I can't see Mayorga beating Vargas. Only way Vargas loses is if he gets careless.

I'm not denying it. But Vargas is open for the shots Mayorga blocks. I think Mayorga would land those wide shots on Vargas. Vargas seems to be open for right hands for his head, basically he's open for the shots Mayorga throws. But I don't know how either's chin holds up. That would be a good dramatic fight because it's about who lands first. I don't know if Mayorga will fight again though, he said he is heartbroken.

true he may be a better boxer than mayorga but without the steroids De La Hoya might have destroyed him....Without the steriods who says he would have even lasted 6 rounds like mayorga did....that is unless mayorga test positive ......

After mayorga sat down in the first, where was the tough kid who grew up on the block and fought guys with machetes? Nowhere really cuz he got scared and that is why i have no love for him no more. he scared of a guy wit gloves on but supposedly got slashed up in gang fights......boxing becoming like WWE
