    Default Isn't weird how delahoya..

how de la hoya beat up a professional bar fighter and he's now considered to be back and ready to conquer the world....

yet when floyd beats up judah...the former WW champ he gets no credit just criticism...

    just thought that was weird...

The bar fighter has shown stiff resistence against world class opponents such as Vernon Forrest, Corey Spinks, Felix Trinidad...

Granted, he's not a good boxer in any real regard. But Zab Judah lost to Carlos Baldomir. If you were to ask me which oppent posed the greatest threat to the given fighters, I would say Mayorga. And Oscar took him out in spectacular fashion.

I think you fail to realise how great of a boxer Oscar was and seems to be still IS, therefore people are going to say he can conquer the world.

Oscars been out 2 years comes back and puts on a display of sheer class.

Most people who would havce been in the ring that night with Dela Hoya would have had hell, because Oscar was near boxing perfection.

Flloyd beat Zab, fair enough, but then again most people do....and Zab can only box for 4 round before getting tired....

Flloyd beat Castillo, thats when I gave him massive credit, but not against Zab Judah

Dela Hoya came back and beat, a reasonable fighter, he is not a bar fighter, he can fight but has limited skills, but you dont be put on PPV and get 2 Million if your simply a bar fighter.

he has something about him, thing is Oscar is that damn good, he destroyed him.

It wasnt about Mayorga being so bad, it was oscar was so good.

Mayorga would destroy Judah in at most 2 rounds!!! Judah can't take any kind of power on his weak ass chin. The Baldomir fight, need I say more? He might be able to run all night though and still lose.

Judah is a much better Boxer than Mayorga, but his defence is no where near the calibre of ODLH, therefor he is bound to get caught.

    Zabs chin is suspect too.

It would be a good fight, but Mayorga would come forward against Zab and thats when he is dangerous.

Mayorga wasnt allowed to do that against ODLH, because he is too good.

Mayorga by 5th round KO as Zab stops after 4

So if floyd would have beaten baldoseeker instead of judah...you wouldn't have criticized him? I find that hard to believe...

I don't care if oscar had seven years off he'd still beat an untrained undisciplined non-boxer anyday....do you give credit to larry holmes for beating butterbean... i mean how long had it been since he fought...

Oscar would walk in a bar and probably whoop everybody in there..even he just came out of a nine year coma..and ricardo mayorga got lucky in the first fight against forrest and inthe second fight the ref didn't penalize him for hitting veronon on the back of the head (10 times at least)..cory spinks...haa you must be kidding...if floyd fought cory spinks many would floyd's ducking somebody else...cory spinks

Oscar gets props for coming to the fight conditioned after a long lay-off. Does he get credit for beating an immobile fighter, who has been on a long lay-off? No. Oscar always could, and always will be able to beat Mayorga. Mayorga was hand picked to make Oscar look good. If people can't see that, then you are blind. Oscar is a great champ, but he's not what he used to be, and never will be. He can still make some noise, but he hasn't looked good in years, except against an immobile fighter, who is washed up. I don't consider that extraordinary, and I hope noone else would. Unless you're blinded by Oscar's looks.

I really haven't seen the hating on PBF.......I think he is the BEST p4p out there at 140-147......i only thought Zab won the first 2 rounds tied the third maybe fourth and the rest was all PBF......I've only seen positive remarks on PBF....now if you're talking about him fighting ODLH at 154 well then PBF gets KO'ed......other than that I think PBF destroys hatton or anyone else at 140-147....just not ODLH....
It feels good to be back home.
