morales has until may 20 to confirm his rubbermatch with pacquiao. if it doesn't push through then pac is free to negotiate with barrera for a fight late this year, probably in november. if morales-pac3 happens, then we'll see the mp-mab rematch next year.

id rather see MAB vs PAC instead ERIK is done with. hes a legend and all but PAC destroyed him already. then ill hook up with a stadium full of fine pinays!

This fight, unfortunately for us fight fans, may never happen because Barrera is obviously scared to death that he willget KO'd again. Once his May 20 date with Chavez was scratched, why didn't he reach out to Pac then for the rematch? No. Instead he calls on Rocky Juarez.

Unlike my boy Morales who says the ONLY fight he wants is Pacquiao.

I think Morrales and JMM, has more of a reason to get a rematch than MAB. But, with MAB being promoted by Golden Boy, anything can happen. Plus, Juarez isn't the best, but I wouldn't count him out just yet. If Juarez wins, MAB will never fight Pac again.

you maybe right about barrera avoiding pacquiao but i think this time he really want to face pac again for that last big payday. i admire morales for wanting to fight pac so soon but i think it's a mistake. besides, 3 fights with pacquiao out of morales' last 4 is getting kinda old.

Barrera is HAPPY that Pacquiao if forced to fight Morales again.

Barrera has not offered or even publicly uttered for a rematch UNTIL HE KNEW PAC WAS FORCED

I agree. MAB is only getting older, and Pac is only getting better. The window of oppurtunity of MAB having a chance at redeeming himself is almost closed.

I just hope Morrales can summon the magic one last time. Although I'm afraid he might be past his window also.

I dont see anyone in that weight class being able to win over Pac man. He is just too strong. I used to think that MAB would. If he is trying to avoid it and heis forced into it, he may have already lost before stepping in the ring. If he is scared he will loose because he will try only to make it to the last bell just like my boy RJJ did against Tarver.

CC man! Pac is a genetic work of art! Speed more than strength though. And yes, MAB and RJJ had or has what it takes, but both lost or will lose it because they lost it before they ever entered the ring mentally. (If that makes sense.)

His window was closed even before the Raheem fight. Morales now, is basically running on sheer Will and Determination.

All seriousness aside,
I believe this is the first time Morales and Barrera must momentarily set aside their differences and
team up and beat Manny Pacquiao together.
