    Default Ricky Hatton at Welter

Wow, I've just got to comment on that fight after watching it over again. Collazo was a very flashy counter puncher who got through with some wicked looking left hands on Ricky's seemingly shaky defence! Collazo is definetely a respectable fighter, no doubt about that.

I'm a big Hatton fan but have to admit, I feel he lost that fight. But it just proves that fighters always struggle when moving up a weight, only 7lbs but it makes a big difference. Just looking at the two men, you could see Ricky naturally belongs in the lower weight division.

In Ricky's defense, that was a very under rated fighter he chose for his first fight in the weight (respect to him for that alone). As he has said, he only had 7 weeks to go upto welterweight so 'hopefully' he can adjust to the weight more next time out.

It is upto Ricky, but I feel that he would probably gain a lot more respect if he beat Collazo again in a more impressive way, which I feel he will do once he has adjusted to the weight. 7 weeks to get into that weight is stupid planning lol!!

sorry if I've repeated a lot of what has been said but had to post on that fight.
