    Default Williams replaces Harrison

Dynamite Danny Williams has stepped into the breach left by Scott Harrison and will now fight on the big Belfast show at the weekend.

Williams was due to appear in Huddersfield on June 1 so will be in fantastic shape on Saturday as he looks to send out a statement to big British rival Matt Skelton.

The pair are set to meet for the second time on July 8, a re-run of their thrilling February showdown which saw Williams scrape home a narrow points decision.

"I'm going to knock Skelton out in July and to show him I'm serious I'm planning an explosive performance on Saturday night," said 32-year-old Williams.

"I know the Belfast fight fans are disappointed that Scott Harrison isn't fighting, but I'll more than make up for his absence.

"I've got to send out a statement not only to Skelton but the rest of the world heavyweight division because I'm determined to bring home a world title before the year is out."

Promoter Frank Warren added: "When I asked Danny if he could step in for Scott it took him no more than a second to say yes. Danny is always in exciting fights, and Saturday night will be no exception."

Since losing to Vitali Klitschko in a brave WBC heavyweight title challenge in December 2004, Williams has bounced back with wins over Skelton and Audley Harrison to stretch his record to 35-4.

An opponent for his Kings Hall fight will be confirmed shortly.

The action-packed card also sees Belfast hero Eamonn Magee defend his WBU welterweight crown against Takaloo, while Amir Khan makes his Northern Ireland debut against former European lightweight title challenger Laszlo Komjathi.

    Default Re: Williams replaces Harrison

Am I the only one expecting (and to be honest kind of hoping :P) that Williams slips up and gets beat?
