Default Video of Naz as a schoolboy

Thought this was a cool little clip. There's a funny bit in the second fight when the commentator says he' "not sure Hamed's much of a banger"! How wrong can you be...

Thanks!! Only confirms what I've always said that Naz left the amateurs too early to build a strong technical foundation!!

Hamed was very good. And contrary to popular belief his style was that of a counter puncher and a combination puncher and what made him spectacular is that he had that power to go with it. But it was when he started relying on his power that he lost all form and became just a guy who would search for one shot all night, that was his downfall against Barerra. When he was on craft I'd pick Naz against any feather or Super featherweight.

Doubt it. I don't see Barerra outboxing an on craft Naz. I could see him beating the Naz that only looked for one shot, but not the counterpunching one.

IMO Naz should have stayed longer in the amateurs to build a more solid technical foundation that would have made it harder for him to build so many bad habits as a pro, the vulnerability to a decent jab for example (MAB is a decent jabber but not a great one, yet his jab had Naz befuddled all night!!)

how come in those fights there was no head gear?

Barrera had Naz's number, i would have loved to see Naz-Morales pity he retired
