These days it woud be Wright as he is still at the top of his game. I would reckon a few years back Roy Jones as he was pretty much untouchable in his day. In saying that if they both met in their prime I would only reckon it would be a close fought fight and very interesting....we will never know I suppose!

In there prime Jones makes Wright look foolish. Wright obviously wins today. I doubt that very seriously, it may be the other way around, speed has never bothered winky, roy does not like other boxers winky may have frustrated roy. i love roy but..... he was with out a doubt leary of fighting fighters who were not complimentary to his style, toney hopkins are two of the best he fought but both are counter punchers excellent ones but not the style you need to beat jones, you cant wait on him, roys reluctantce to fight chris byrd kind of reinforced this, you nullify speed with boxing ability hence a jab... winky has that and is left handed, he certainly has the ability to frustrate roy.

Roy at his best would have clearly beaten Taylor, Hopkins and Wright at their best. Toying with and then KO'n Taylor, doin what he did against Hopkins in 93, clearly winnin but havin some trouble, and probably bein stoppin Wright. Winky just thinks Taylor hits hard. And Taylor just thinks Winky was fast. Roy was twice as fast and twice as powerful as each.

Agree with almost everything except prime Roy isn't knocking Taylor out. He almost never engaged guys who could punch whom he could clearly outbox. He would have been content to beat him 12-0.

nonsense. Roy stopped guys with better chins than Taylor and who hit harder.

Sure I'll name ya three. Vinny Paz, Montell Griffin, and Virgil Hill. The latter being by a body shot, but it was the first time he had been stopped and he was a bigger, better fighter than Taylor.

I seriously hope you're kidding man. Vinny Pazienza You are aware the man was coming back from a broken neck right? And that he was a former friggin lightweight right? And Montel Griffin? Exactly what is it about Taylor's chin that makes you think it's worse than any of those guys

Put the bong on the floor and step back away from it. When did Virgil Hill become Marvin Hagler? I'm not saying Jermaine is Hagler either, but what's nonsense is to say because a man KO'd Virgil Hill he can KO anybody. If that was the case he would have KO'd all his opponents at 160 and up. Roy liked to coast.

Smashcrusher, just fukoff son. Im tryin to have an intelligent conversation here with Skyler. Now speaking of Hagler, he couldnt even KO a blown up lightweight in Roberto Duran if you wanna go down that road. Never said Roy could or would KO anybody. However, Taylor he would. His speed and punching power combined would hurt Taylor badly and stop him, especially since Taylor loves to keep that left hand down. And yes Virgil Hill and Montell Griffin are better fighters than Taylor. Griffin had two close wins over James Freakin Toney! And even in old age went the distance with Tarver. KO'n him in his prime is an accomplishment, considering how good he was defensively.
