If it's true it is indeed another bit of sad news in the life of Eubank. I always loved watching him in action when I was younger and he is one of the reasons I probably love the sport as much as I do now. A hero to me in his day along with Watson, Benn and countless others. It is sad indeed to hear Chris's decline and hopefully he can get himself back on track soon.
Its even sadder if you read his book and understand him more
Thats cricket
Just searched eBay and found no trace of such a sale.
I reckon it's bogus personally.
NOT TRUE... SORRY MATE

no f'ing way!!!!!!!! the buyer should give it right back....take a few pictures with it on maybe ...get afew autographs...and give it back.....or the Boxing organization should buy it from the bidder and get it back....whomever it is does not deserve to have that belt....Originally Posted by WWatt

i agree, it is just not noble to do that to a former world champion.Originally Posted by bigragu

I hope Chris isn't the one having to sell the belt.

Eubank is bankrupt so it wouldn't surprise me, though i don't think there's an ounce of truth in the story. If the belt were to be sold it would be sold at an auction for sure, but not on ebay auction.Originally Posted by LuciferTheGreat
Eubank is another prime example of a rags to riches to rags (though not quite) type of story. He apparently made a decent living (prior to making his millions from boxing) in his youth by petty theft, but as soon as he made his money from theft he was spending it on the latest designer gear.
Eubank quite simply doesn't or doesn't want to recognise the value of money, which in many ways is a good way to be, but it is simply sad that simply the best is now broke after what he has achieved in boxing, but then the same could be said of many fighters. Many fighters are not educated in how to deal with millions of pounds when they make it.
Eubank certainly squandered much of his money, but he probably had a great time, and felt good in doing so... The problem is that sometimes there is a price to pay at the end of all that.
Last i heard Eubank is set to appear on Celebrity Love Island.
so what one of the 80's corey feldman or haim cant remember sold their teeth on ebay now thats Fin saaaaaaaaaaad yo
and Screech is slangin t-shirts to keep his crib!!!!!!!!!
I've got a mate who does a lot of business with Chris's brother. Apparantly his brother is a real dodgy fucker, into everything and Chris used to launder his money for him.
I remember a couple years ago he (my mate) got about 200 brand new Nokia phones from Eubanks brother. I sold a dozen on eBay for 200 quid profit a time.
Happy days :P
But the stories he told me about Chris was less than flattering. Still a bit of a dodgy fucker now.
But what the hell we all do what it takes to survive and I'm no better myself.
Yeah that fool did a comedy show at this Irish pub I go to in waterbury CT....sad as can beOriginally Posted by TheBESTP4P
