The first airing of ECW on Sky Sports Sunday night has been, unfortunately, heavily edited. For unknown reasons (since after 9 p.m. it's usually "fair game" on UK TV) the opening ECW One Night Stand's recap had still shots and black and white segments, which weren't present in the US broadcast. Plus, Sandman's match against the Zombie (who had different music as well for unknown reasons compared to the one used on Sci-Fi) was edited in the part where Sandman hits Zombie's gut with a Singapore Cane (in which the director cut to crowd shots) and the post-match part of it was cut off the broadcast. On Kurt Angle's promo the word "ass" was bleeped and thankfully there were no edits on the battle royal other than a different camera angles. The morning version had even more strict censorship in which a good chunk of the battle royal was edited off the show, Kelly's strip was nowhere to be seen (as were her promos) and the Edge/Cena/RVD recap from the opening promo was re-aired almost in full. Also, every Sci-Fi reference was edited off the broadcast with Joey Styles having to re-dub part of the play-by-play to fit in. ECW with censorship? Better not airing at all in my opinion.

tonight some good news, it seems paul e dangerousley has already been given more control then he had last week, and sci-fi is now comfortable that the crowd in attendance will not be ECW fans(they wont be using profane chants) so ECW will air live tonight...

what happend to the boogie man on smackdown, he actually was my fav. wrestler there. his charcter was cool, they should have built up a match with the undertaker, that would have been cool

I don't follow wrestling like I do boxing. But I do watch it on occasion. And this Boogie Man clown fuckin sucked. He literaly had no moves besides a slam. This charactor was a waste of money and time. You can only eat some many worms, before it gets lame.

Booker T and Sharmell now have a restraining order against the Boogeyman. The order was if the Boogeyman gets within 100 feet of Booker and Sharmell, SmackDown! GM Theodore Long would lose his job. The Boogeyman's injury is the reason for the restraining order angle on SmackDown!. He actually had surgery April 4, 2006 to repair a left bicep tear; out for a minimum 4 months

the real part is the injury, he was saying the restraining order was thought up to explain his absense due to his injury

btw, in ECW, ALL use of weapons is real, they just dont try to hurt each other

LAST MONDAY he worked a match on RAW, hacksaw is the man, one of my all time favorites, unfortunitley they jobbed him out to a man who must have faced more jobbers then ANYONE EVER, umaga

Hey Sal what has Goldberg and Brock Lesner been up too? I was a HUGE prowrestling fan but stopped watching it I feel the WWE fuked everything up...As a Fan I loved WCW Nitro and the fact it competed with Raw but business is business..Would love for The WWE to Nitro back on the Air

yea, lesnar is HUGE in japan, there was a lawsuit recentley to try to keep him from wrestling there, but it was thrown out because his contract had some rediculous 60 year no compete clause or something

Yes i still remeber the infamous fight between Kevin Nash and Ray Myterio in which Nash went to powerbomb him and his reversed it n ended up pinning him from it.
