    Default Taylor vs. Kessler

Taylor has never shown his talent winning anything. He has just american nationatiol titles. As an amateur he lost everytime he fought outside America. Kessler won the EU title as a 17 youngsters.... - beating all of the talented guys from the east. Taylor did not even qualify for the Championships.....

Kessler is underrated and will murder Taylor by a mile. Just like watching another hyped Lacy. Most American had Lacy close to p4p status but first time he met a live European he was killed!

you have drank from the Kool-aide once to often...first-Taylor is not even in Kesslers division....Second-when Taylor does decide to step up Kessler will be no more......for the record I am a die hard B-HOP fan...and yes I think B-HOP would also feed Kessler his arse as well....

I really would look forward to a fight between them. They never met in the amateurs, as Taylor never reached the level, but Taylor would look like a midget to Kessler both boxing-wise and psychical.

    Kessler hasn't done jack shit!!!!

Jermain Taylor is the best and how is he "the best" simply he fights the best opponents out there and has never lost, meanwhile some cunt named Mikkel is out fighting the Eric Lucas' of the world.

It's all well and good to cheer your favorite fighter but to totally dis a guy like Taylor for someone who hasn't proven himself vs anyone nearly as tough as Wright or Hopkins is ridiculous.

Kessler may prove me wrong but he hasn't done anything yet to regard such hype...all he is a white Scandinavian with tatoos...oooh he's such a badass

look at Taylor's body-built and then at Kessler's ditto, then you should know, why I said Taylor would look like a midget...

The problem with Lacy, what made him look bad was that he is a slugger and he can't box. Jeff was in there with a tough lefty...

JERMAIN on the other hand is a GREAT boxer and a very underrated puncher, he's wobbled Hopkins, I mean B-Hop a guy who never got KO'd or knocked down.

Kessler could look like Godzilla he still won't make up for the FACT that he hasn't fought anyone decent

No, Taylor is not fighting the best oposition, but he is fighting the American opposition and then he is ranked by many, you included, as the best - I do not think that Taylor would beat Sturm, Abraham and Asikainen - do you remember how highly Jeff Lacy was ranked by almost any American before the Calzaghe fight? Many thought that he was close to be p4p material.... - but first time he met European live opposition he was killed as a small boy. What will happen to Taylor when he can not hide fighting old americans?

Your so dillusional it's not even funny. Those, "old Americans", are p4p GREATS... Bhop and arguably Winky as well are both probably greater than any fighter Europe has ever produced EVER, at least none would surpass them. Id like to see someone try and argue that..... Give me the best Eastern European fighter of all time my friend..... Oh that's what I thought. Give me the best opponent Kessler has beaten....... His resume llooks about the same as Lacy's did before he fought Calzaghe, and Ill admit that he isn't getting anywhere near the hype, but that's because he lives in a country that probably eats blocks of ice or something, and don't even own televisions... Matter of fact, Calzaghe kind of looked like a midget when he fought Lacy didn't he?? Kessler and Lacy have a similar build, actually...

    Never fought any decent?

When Kessler won his title, he took it from The Ring's #2 with ten days notice replacing Mads Larsen. His first defence was against The Ring's #3 abroad! So he only lacks to meet #1....

So not meeting any decent? Learn your boxing or stop posting.

Jeff Lacy got ranked because he was undefeated and fought decent opponents, they weren't the best but this is about JERMAIN TAYLOR not Jeff Lacy so drop it already.

JERMAIN TAYLOR fought Bernard Hopkins TWICE beat him TWICE and fought p4p-er Winky Wright who if I am not mistaken fought tons of guys in Europe and whipped their asses.

What have guys like Sturm, Abraham, and Asikainen done as compared to Taylor? Sure Sturm fought well vs De la Hoya but has he taken advantage of the attention he got from that fight? NOPE! Abraham is fighting another UNPROVEN fighter in Miranda, he wins all of a sudden he's the best ever? It's Edison Miranda, all offense nothing else a tough fight but not THE TOUGHEST. Asikainen HAHAHAHA...ridiculous

Kessler won the title from a guy who was KO'd by the feather fister Svenn Ottke...and the fight went the distance

I told you to stop posting - but if you want to make a fool out of yourself then you are welcome.

    Siaca never met Ottke....

Kessler took the title from a guy who went SD abroad with Byron Mitchell (the first guy to ever floor Calzaghe) and WBA Champ Bruno Girard, who refused to rematch Siaca and was then stripped. Siaca has only lost in Championship fights but never stopped like Kessler did. Siaca is in his next fight fighting for the WBA Light Heavyweight Title.......
