Thread: Guys who just plain suck

I'll start...

alex schonauer and lodun sincaid just plain suck,

delete this one since the other is hidden away.

Haha...that was the funniest fight ever. The dude straight up bullrushed for I think a round and a half, with Wade Shipp landing knee after knee after uppercut after hook. Then Jon finally managed to fall onto Shipp's back, and ended the fight with these pitiful looking hammerblows, forcing the ref to end the fight. His strategy was basically "let the other dude wail on me until he gets so tired, I win by exhaustion"

Bob Sapp: The guy has ZERO skills whatsoever, but he DOES have raw strength and the ability to make his opponent fight his fight most of the time, which is just a street brawl. So Kudos to him for having a winning record, and for almost beating Nog to death in that one fight. So he doesnt plain suck, but he does suck.

Cabbage: I love watching him fight, and he's got a chin of pure steel, but for chrissake....learn to fight back once in a while.

Akebono: Sumo Wrestler....'nuff said.

Chuck Lidell: Thats right, you heard me. I have no freaking idea how this guy wins his fights. I really dont think he's a talented striker in the least and I haven't seen anything resembling a ground game whatsoever. All he ever throws is a pawing jab or a huge looping hook. Put him in the ring with a decent boxer, and I pretty much guarantee he gets destroyed, a la Lidell v Couture I.

Cabbage=Wesley "Cabbage" Correia (sp?).

Hes a heavyweight who basically has one of the toughest chins I've ever seen in my life, but he really can't fight back at all. He lost to Tim Sylvia and Arlovski, neither by KO (I think both were ref stoppage). He beat Tank by doctor stoppage for a cut, but then was KOd by Tank in their rematch. He slugged it out with Butterbean once, but the fight was stopped by Cabbages corner between rounds, because Butterbean was REALLY laying a hurting on him.

Long story short, he's just a really big punching bag that cant really fight back, but will take one hell of a beating.

Are there really any GOOD punchers in MMA? There are guys that hit bloody hard but not technically proficient.

why do say fedor?

Care to explain why, Van? His punches are sloppy, and always just looping hooks. His jab is almost always pawing. His punches are never crisp, and when he punches, he's always been wide open to counters.

And Von, that Anderson "Spider" Silva guy looked great in his fight vs Leben. It was the first time I'd seen him, but from what I've heard, that was pretty much par for him.

I guess Vitor is pretty proficient too.

btw, the leben silva fight was so one-sided it was sick. leben was so outlcassed. he had no business being in the cage with him.

what was funny though was that they're both listed at 5'11" yet there was clealy a 3" differential. either leben 5'9" or somebody is lying about silva's measurements.
