Thread: Vargas Vs Mayorga in a final Fight.

I say Mayorga stops him in 3r because Vargas will stand there a trade and get KTFO.

I was thinking about this fight as well today because they both lost to oldies in devastating fashion in fact I don't think I've seen either lose as badly previously.

It would be a draw.

I vote yes, and I don't care who wins. Both will come and put on a great fight.

this would be a great fight, i'd go with Mayorga by ko/tko mid rounds!

I really really really dont have a clue who i think would win. If Vargas uses any lil bit of that talent he used to have he could win this easily however he just looked soo poor against Shane last week. Mayorga on the otherhand is going to rely on that one punch ending the fight. Real flip a coin fight, but i know one thing if Vargas looses he needs to retire.

As the old saying go's no when to say when. Both of these fighters need to hang them up, it was fun while it lasted.

don't really care to see a fight between 2 washed up fighters.....but I will go with Vargas because he has more boxing ability....

After that display against Mosley I gotta go with my man Mayorga by KO. Though he and Vargas were stopped in the same round against Shane and Oscar, Mayorga came to fight and to win. Vargas really just showed up for a pay day was terribly slowwww. It makes some sense for the fight to be made, one last hurrah for two fearless warriors, but Vargas really just shot. Still has power though and unfortunately Mayorga's chin really seems to have deterioated a little.

Is this actually being discussed by anyone outside of this forum? I thought there was no way Vargas was ever fighting again at 154--all he talked about leading up to Mosely II was how it's torture for him to not be able to eat as much as he wants and he's going up to 160 win or lose, etc. And I don't see Mayorga as a 160 fighter.
