    Default Hatton/Baldomir/Miranda/Abraham

    Some thoughts on my mind:-

Hatton contemplating a drop back to 140? Billy Graham 'gutted' that Gatti got beat? Sounds like Rick had his eye on some EASY money methinks, but why not go after Baldomir, the legitmate linear champ? The guy is very, very beatable. He's slower than a week in jail for starters, and I think he would struggle to cope with Hatton's style... It's like Hatton has lost his bollocks all of a sudden. One average showing at 147 and he's done?? Hatton at 147 makes for some tuly awesome matchups - Mayweather, Baldomir, Margarito and eventually Cotto will all be at the weight. Rick needs to find his balls and soon.

Next - I'm contemplating dropping some serious cash on Miranda to beat Abraham. Miranda is a clear underdog in this fight and I know it's in Germany, but any guy that can stop Eastman has got to have some pop in his punches, right??

The line stating slower than a week in jail was hilarious but true. I like Hatton if they fought

I really think this is easy money. At BEST this is a 50/50 fight even in Germany.
Edison is not just a heavy hitter, he has great boxing skills. He had easily out pointed the tricky Eastman before the KO. Abraham is a much easier fight to train for and Miranda has been in camp for months. If this somehow goes the distance (which I don't think Abraham will have the stamina to get past round 7) I still say Miranda wins on points.

what i find funny is that so many on this forum said gati would beat hatton. Now gatti lost baldy is 'very' beatable....

baldy/cotto are the best 2 people for hatton to fight at,, fir recognition and money.. BUT if hatton cant stop baldy, he is in for a LONG night.

I honestly can't call hatton on his next fight as of yet. If the callazo fight taught us anything, it was hatton has a problem getting inside a jab from a bigger legit champion. So it will depend how much he has worked on his defence, and head movment, not just trying to walk through punches.

Unlike collazo baldy doesnt have speed, he may not be a power puncher, but he has a hell of a chin, and imo hits allot harder than collazo - and hatton cuts easy

I wouldn't think bad of hatton if he dropped down to Jr welter, but i, and i think alot of others would respect him more if he stayed in welter, tried to fight a legit welter w8, and even lose - he isnt a welter, but he went up, took a belt, adleast give it a try?

There is nothing in light welter for him right now, no money, no big fighters - no legecy to be gained, cotto and baldy are very beatable, even toni is if hatton works on getting through punches not walking through them - that leaves PBF, would it be so bad to losse to him? even though i think hatton could beat him, wouldnt put my house on it

would be a shame to see him drop down - i think thats why the south americans are loved so much, the dont give to shis about their record, aslong as they are fighting the best they are happy!

I doubt Hatton beats Baldomir. Hatton has to push you around the ring and you have to give him ground for him to win. Baldomir won't do that and Hatton isn't going to hurt him.

Hatton vs Baldomir, I give it to Baldomir. Baldomir is naturally bigger and his chin is pretty sturdy. Reason why I won't give it to Hatton is because I feel that he was a little exposed by Collazo. It really makes for a good fight. But yeah if they do it I think that's another blown up junior welterweight champ that will be victimized by Baldomir. I think Hatton should go back down to 140.

As much as I like Hatton as an entertaining fighter, I don't think he's physically big enough to impose himself on big natural welterweights.

personally i think rick would take Baldi by UD

baldi is slow and sluggish and looks like he lacks stamina but is a big bloke with a decentish chin so i could see rick getting to him later in the fight and coming off better in the exchanges with baldi not being too hurt. i think people are too hyped up about him because he has beat less than focused boxer in judah and a seriously shot Gatti that came up in weight class

Hatton would be brave to fight margarito for the sheer fact that margarito is massive compared to him and has about 5/6 inches in height and about the same in reach advantage. he would prevent rick getting anywhere near him keeping rick away with his jab

Hatton Vs Urango not yet i'd rather see castillo

Although I thought Baldomir would beat Gatti, I think Hatton could handle Baldomir. Hatton would be much faster & I feel may have the bigger punch. I think Baldomirs style would be perfect for Hatton. I think Hatton's biggest problem with Collazo was the southpaw stance. Baldomir will keep pressing foward thinking he can wear down Hatton, but Hatton will be prepared for 12 hard rounds. Hatton would take the decision in a tough fight.

If Hatton is dropping down to 140 why doesn't he fight Witter, I thought this was a big fight a year or two ago in England

What are the chances of Baldomir fighting Ricky in Manchester? Now that would be cool.

Probably draw the biggest money there but I think Hatton should go to the champion for once!
