The firsts were made with THE GIMP. Pretty good program that really showed me the ropes of makin tags like this. Simplified menus, easy to use, small in size. Very underrated program. I would rather start with Gimp and work up to Photoshop rather then start with Photoshop. Gimp was a fine program.

First ever boxing related sig (and there is a pretty big difference between using real life and animated renders (pictures) so I put them into different categories. Made with Gimp. All I really did was slap some brushes on and colorize it. Wasn't to bad for a first but...

Second. Haha. Well. It speaks for itself. I think the first one was better then this one haha

Third. Made with GIMP again. Used filters for the first time (albeit didn't use them well) but this was kind of a step up for me in learning even though it may not show in terms of results.

Made this one in like 40 mins. Really not much to it but it looks pretty good for what I had to work with. GIMP again.

This is where I started actually getting semi good and started outgrowing GIMP. Really good program but this was a very complete sig. Filters and smudging mostly with a few brushes. Nothing spectacular but for this being only like my 10th sig (and whatever numbered boxing sig) I like it.

Then this was just me mimicing I saw someone else do and doing it fairly poorly. I was just kind of getting bored of GIMP and it would be a while before I ever made a sig after this. In fact I wouldn't make one for about 6 months when I stumbled upon Photoshop (not even illegaly either)

Ok. So I got Photoshop CS 2. World of difference. Great program. Huge step up. It was like building blocks. This sig was just me messing around with defaults (filters, smudging, brush presets, adjustment layers, levels, curves ect), just everything that came packaged with Photoshop. That's the great thing about Photoshop. You can do so much, you don't need to rely on just brushes to do your work. And GIMP taught me the basics on all that stuff I mentioned. So then I came up with this.

Ok, nothing to special but I put about 6 hours into that sig just learning stuff. Hopefully you can notice my sigs start to take off (or probably just slowly climb) from there. This is a really good sig imo. Found a great shot of Mayweather and made something out of it. Smudged all around it, made the render (Mayweather) a little more bright, or more glowing, blurred it and set it on a glowing backround. Notice little stuff but I really like this sig. And actually, a lot of people ended up taking that style and making it there own and even the sigs you see now make use of a lot of empty space with more emphasis on the render rather then the background. I'm not saying I had anything to do with it, but things did kind of change in the sig making community a little after this sig. But I'm just a nobody really but I got a lot of good feedback on this one from people who are some of the best on the internet imo.

This was a purely experimental thing, wasn't even trying to make anything just fooling around still learning Photoshop. But this is the end result. No way to explain it but I really like this sig. But no one else does. IDK, but I really like this sig. It's different, which doesn't make it good but I like it.

Another Winky one. This one I like to because the colors are the skin color of Winky. Usually a bad thing to match BG with skin color but I actually think this time it turned out pretty good. It's not the best, very average sig but whatever. I made this after staying up over 40 hours. I fell asleep on the computer chair and woke up the next morning with these boards open, Rahman had released his first video I clicked refresh and it went from like 2 replies to like 8 pages.

Made basically the same way as the PBF sig. Used this as my sig here for a long time. I think I got better responses for this one then I did any other sig I've ever made.

My man Jorge Barrios. Bummed he didn't make wait but can't wait to see the Guzman fight. PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME WHO WON THE FIGHT OR ANY OF SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS. I decided to post this one since I wanted them all on but I really do not want to know. I still have to wait to watch them. Again though, made the same way as the PBF sig.

Then...excluding this past midnight creation , I hadn't made a sig in 5 months. Busy 5 months really. But this is a rubbish sig. But I was rusty and tired. Good pic though, I wish I could find that pic on the internet. It was packaged into a Hatton-Collazo dl I made.

Then I promised I would make my man El Gamo a sig anytime he wanted. He asked I said ok and then I COMPLETELY forgot. About 2 months passed by and he said something and I felt really bad and made a request on another site to get one made because I didn't think I was capable of making one worth that long wait. Unfortunately none of them picked up my slack and I made this one. Margarito needs to get in a fucken photo studio or start fighting on cards that people with good cameras actually care about because the pictures of him are hell to work with. The colors were all messed up on the pic I wanted to use so I had to convert it to grayscale and I went back to my GIMP days and relied heavily on brushes. Some smudging and lighting effects to but...mostly brushes. Didn't come out very good and I didn't really feel good about it.

So to make up for the Tony sig. I made this for my man El Gamo. He has a slightly different version of it though. This one really got me back into making them and I've been making them a lot. Love the pic of Cotto just never been able to make use of it. I think I did a pretty good job...I like it.

Now I've made 3 sigs, that I can't upload to the internet right now. But I will. All of them I like. Any Joe Louis fans? Made a pretty cool one for him. Not the best but it's hard to make a good sig out of an old picture. Not that good yet. But this one isnt bad imo. Wouldn't upload it if it was. Then there is a Jeff Lacy one. Wait for that one. Then Sugar Ray.

I'll edit with those later.
i remember you saying you where going to make me one of bhop. are you still doing it or decided not to make it ?
