According to published reports, Ricky Hatton has been mugged by a Gang of Thugs while on holiday in the country of China.

Reports indicate that the gang of thugs confronted Hatton and then snatched his Rolex watch valued at £4,000.

Paul Speak, representing Hatton saidthat Hatton had been out for some drinks while with friends but then became
separated from them. While making his way back to his hotel in Shanghai, the Gang attacked.

Paul Speak was quoted by the media sayong: "There was a scuffle. He was pretty scared but did the sensible thing by not trying to fight his way out. Whenever he goes abroad he usually wears a cheap plastic watch but on this occasion he forgot it.

Speak added: "Ricky is a bit embarrassed because he knows that he should have stayed with his mates and not been walking the streets alone."

I remmeber when I heard Carmelo Anthony (NBA star) was robbed. I was like what hgow the fwock someone like him get robbed. The I found out the guys came up to him at a street light and said can we have an autograph and a picture he said yeah!! they went up to his car and jacked him fro money & jewlery.

Yeah a band of thieves come up and surprise you, its best to just give them what they want, you don’t know if they are packing or what, Its very important to fight the urge to knock everyone ass out and just submit, give up the watch and cash. I always wear my fake Rolex when I am traveling abroad. And I always have little cash on hand to satisfy the criminal element if a situation arise ! A few hundered bucks .and a fake Rolex is a small price to pay for your life.

Very True...I don't care how tough you are when a group comes up against you and especially if you are in a strange place don't try to be a tough guy you can't take all of them...And like Lords said youy don't know what those guys have on them...Hell Ricky could have ended up laying in an alley somewhere in China...Nothing to be ashamed of at all giving it up.....

LOL on the extra money and fake watch thing.....As a kid my Grandmother used to make us do that all the time...keep a few bucks in your pocket and the rest in your sock...Muggers usualy want the quick loot and will run without even counting.....KEEP YOUR CHAINS TUCKED IN!!!!!.....As a kid you thought it was just a nag but...I tell my kids the same thing
