    Pac on Morales ----->
I know he's in great shape right now
Pac knows that Morales is nowhere near to his ideal weight / shape . I think if Erik was in with Raheem again this time he'd lose and alot of its got to do with his conditioning . IMO hes finished as a fighter and Pacs lucky the fights happening now and not 5 years ago

Expect to be surprised. That's all I'm saying. Everybody is saying Pac Barrera II, not Morales Barrera IV. I'm not saying Morales will win (JUST YET). But expect to be surprised. That goes for everyone else too!
I expect an improved Morales performance and think he can win, but that opinion only comes from knowing how good he can be. How good he will be is that unknown variable that makes this so exciting....
If your talking about "conditioning" your dead wrong. Morales' problems never had a rooted in that. HBO thinks so, since they always talk about that and talked about during all his recent fights. When it comes to HBO and Morales.... they can suck my ballzz!!!! heh HBO has been wrong in just about every aspect with Morales... almost every aspect. And when they review a future Hall of Famer with such ignorance, that pisses me off... but even worse, what does that say about HBO? The leader in boxing showcases.

Morales will BE AS GOOD AS HE CAN BE, I'll tell you that straight up. I just don't know if the "fight odometer" has one last classic in store for Pacquiao. I sense so, but sense has nothing to do with it.

Your a cool guy, so I'll tell yah... Morales' problems root from TAKING ON THE BEST in so little a time frame and late in his War Torn career. Currently no fighter, including Corrales, has taken on grueling champions and has been though 12 long rounds with A+ world class fighters consecutively, repeatedly, and consistently. Nobody on PLANET EARTH! Just go by boxrec and check it out. I'll be the first and ONLY to say this. heheh No disrespect to fighters like Pacquiao, Corrales, and Castillo, because those men take on the best and put Mayweather's current resume to shame.

But conditioning isn't the root of it. Morales will be in his best shape, make no mistake.
Making the weight wasnt what I was getting at but I feel that was a difficulty last time out. I feel with this team and the way he is looking now he is bang on target with that. I just worry that the last Pac fight would have had a lasting effect on Erik mentally. He is a proud man and to have been stopped like that must have been tough. And like you say, Erik has been in a lot of tough bouts and here he is marching straight into another one. You dont get much tougher than this.

I like to believe Morales has what it takes but we really dont know how much there is left in him. Its only when Pac really tries to lay it on that we will know if Morales can still let it all hang out and come through. This is the unknown variable I was referring to.

No more doubts, Morales IS going to win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring itttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!

CC's to Gyro and El Gamo....interesting points all round...

i think that Morales is still very much game and can beat Pacquiao just like the first fight or worse, he still has the tools to stop him, remember Manny was wobbled a couple times, even in the rematch

Morales has and always will have the size and skill advantage that's why it surpises me alot of people right him off for this fight. It wouldn't suprise me if he wins but it will definitely be near disgrace if he gets stopped again by a smaller framed fighter.

CC back, it's good to hear all the Morales fans come back alive!
Pacquiao ain't no young buck either! He's been in some tough tussles. The thing about Pac is he's inconsistent, sometimes he shows up UNBEATABLE and the next fight he shows up looking sloppy and tired.

If Morales blazed though Pac. I can seriously see Pac Barrera come though.

People would want Morales Barrera IV, well I should say Mexicans would want part IV. haha But negotiations will probably fall apart from Morales' & Bob Arum's and Barrera & Oscar de la Hoya's hatred toward each other.
And Pac would need a "comeback fight" and Barrera a "redemption fight." People may feel Barrera may have a better chance now that Pac would be a little softened up from Morales and Barrera would be much more prepared.
Hell Pac called for the lighting now he's gotta hear the BOOOOM!!! Talking like he's taking on Mexico, he has to live up to that. haha Pac is so talented that he can actually pull it off too, but Barrera and Morales, even when they lose, if they train right, and are "young enough" they're monsters.

very good points argued for both pac and EM and that my friends is what makes this rubber match sooo freakin exciting is that anything can and will probably happen. one thing is certain and that is it will NOT be boring at all! from watching this fight in the privacy of your own living room, or at a sports bar or even RINGSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE directly behind Pacquiao's corner in row lucky 7

CC to you brod. That's what makes Pacquiao greaaaaat, he beat a great, bigger, and longer-armed boxer, a sure hall of famer, who has all the advantage working for him - it seems almost unfair to me that a bigger guy should be picking on a small guy, but a heck with that, the small boy won anyway. The age? c'mon guys they're only 2 years different and besides, I bet defense-hungry Pac has gobbled up as many power shots as Erik has. That's why he's fast becoming number 1 in many P4P lists. But don't get me wrong, if there is anyone who can beat Pac, it's the great Terrible himself, noone else, IMO. So if Pac beats Erik, I think he will be unbeatable for quite a while. But I'll reserve my judgement on Valero coz I haven't seen his fights yet.

C' back Miles, this is an awesome thread guys, great points by everyone,EM and Pac nuthuggers alike. Having just read the article Gyro posted, about EM's fitness,I honestly,a 100% fit EM beats Manny. I just hope he really is 100% fit. His conditioning was poor for the Raheem fight,he looked lazy and sluggish in my opinion. That was however,an excellent point someone raised,Erik has shaken Manny on a NUMBER of occasions,I just hope he knocks him on his ass this time! All I know for a fact is that their previous two fights are two fight of the year contenders(and personal all time great fights for me!) and I expect this to be no different,2 awesome fighters, doing it 1 more time!

i AGREE pACFAN,IF Manny wins this,he will be unbeaten for a long time. I just don't see how MAB will do it,Guzman is super skilled but can he fight at the pace Pac sets, and if he stays on the ropes against Pac,and tries to roll those short, fast, furious punches,he WILL get KTFO and at this time,Valero is too raw. IF Valero reverts to the fooking boxing style I have seen him show beautifully in sparring, give him a year, let him fight other top rated fighters and then he will KTFO pACQUIOA!!!(just kiddin!)

Where have you been, brod Gamo?! I've been looking all over for you and missing your usual daily breads, I mean threads. This place isn't the same without ya, and I'm sure many others were looking for you to. Well anywayz welcome back - 'please graciously accept my cc as a welcome gift.' naw, I'll make it this this time around.

Oops, those clicks are dangerously close to each other but don't worry, I got it right; glad they weren't bomb buttons.

hahaha, bro,I wasn't here for 1 day and it felt to me as if something was missing,I love this place! Have a cc bro,I had to make time for the girls yesterday man! I'm going to back to university soon but I'll still make time to post alot, will just have to finish assignments off quickly so I can talk boxing with you guys

Bro,I just watched Morales Pac 1 and 2 and those were my extremes for boxing happiness and sadness. Both fights were incredible,so much skill courage and machismo on show! I'm soooooooo nervous about the third fight!!

So Pacfan, what are you going to do when this fight is over, are you still coming online as often?? Or will you cut down until Pac's next fight? And what about when Pac is retired? You better still come online bro!

Got your message, thanks a lot. I didn'y know about the (top secret), pretty cool ha. But I'll have to pass those coz I'm here in a rural area so I'm still using the old modem connection which is supposedly to be running at 56k but actually running at 5k (hey, guys don't laff).

Gals! Ya, that's about the only reason that can get the good El Gamo out of here. I bet even the nagging of your mom won't get you out of this place, 'hey son Gamo, get outta there and do your chores,' I can almost hear it (just kiddin'). I've noticed that almost everytime I come here, I see you smiling there at the roster on the top so naturally I've got used to it. So when I didn't see you there, I felt something missing. Well anyway, glad to see you there today.

So you're planning to juggle your studies and your activities here, boy, that'll be tough. Talking of college reminds me of my strict dad, who was one of the pioneer computer experts and who played violin on a Japanese orchestra, always dismayed by his brat son (yup, that's me) who never went college or even finished high school. So good luck to you there, I hope you can manage both.

The Mor-Pac I & II, ya I know what you mean. Those were real tearjerkers! Those were total wars! can't imagine they'd be doing it again. If I were them, I'd made up some excuses. Feel sorry for their brains. But your boy seems to be pretty fit, that's really scary .

I haven't decided how often I'll be coming here. To be honest, I've been neglecting some of the things I should be doing since I came here, but this place is addictive! My folks here are already complaining, 'Pacfan, (no, that's not my name) you've been wasting your time sitting there for hours, get out of there!' I'd love to stay here, but we'll have to see. But it's almost sure I won't be totally away, unless of course Pac loses and I go into a fit of depression, .

the second fight was no blow out by any means so to think that Pacquiao will blast him away in 4 is crazy, i think a fit and well conditioned Morales will out box and out brawl Manny Pacquiao and either get a well earned large margin UD or stop Pac Man in the around the 9th or 10th

hahahaha, that was funny shat and yeah, you pretty much nailed it,nt even mama can get me out of this place!! CC in 24. I hope the third is a great fight too,it'll match MAB-EM trilogy and will enhance both fighters legacies even more ESPECIALLY if Morales won!!
