From october 8th the coolest thing is going to happen!!!!

maybe you all have heard of Arnold Vanderleyde. He is a former dutch amateurboxer (heavyweight, he never turned pro). He won the Dutch titel eight times, European title three times, and two times silver at Worldchampionships, and won three bronze medals at three Olympics. he retired in 1993 and sincethen been an ambassador for dutch boxing.

Well, he's taking it to the next level. Arnold started up 'The Boxing Academy'. As part of that he wants to give an impuls to dutch femaleboxing. Starting from october 8th, every month he will give a full day of training (incl. theory, video, sparring, techniques, the works) for female boxers. The femaleboxers of our gym who do fights have been invited to join these trainingdays, and yes, i'm one of them!!!!

I'm so excited!!!!! This is so awesome!!!!! Getting trained by one of the best Dutch boxers ever, training with women with much more experience (i just started a year and a half ago), this will be a great learningtrip! I'm so proud to participate!!!!!

That is going to be great for you KQ!!!!!!!!!!! When you get there try not to be in to much awe of what is going on (I tend to do that when I get really excited about attending something ). Good luck with it.
