    Default If Baldomir beat mayweather...

If Baldomir beat Mayweather do you think a Hatton-Gatti fight would be back on?

Ricky wanted the fight but saw little gain after baldo beat gatti (Although there was more gain than a fight against Urango).

If Baldo beat PBF then i reckon there would be more chance of this fight being back on. I would love to see it happen personally, what do you reckon?

I think Baldomir has a GREAT shot at giving Floyd all he can handle...Gatti blasted the guy and it did NOTHING to him...he walks around at almost 190...he's all pressure, he keeps coming at you no matter what he is hit with!

Floyd SHOULD have fought Margarito because Toni will give him space, he'll let him run, let him breathe, and Toni has LONG punches easy to counter and get out of danger.....Baldomir is going to be Floyd's shaddow for 12 rounds!

Yes, I think the Gatti-Hatton match SHOULD happen and if this does happen yeah, I could see it being discussed

I carnt see any bearing on Baldy beating PBF would have on if Hatton fought Gatti?

Hattons next fight, and future fights will be at LWW. I honestly carnt see him jumping back up after fighting Urango, win or lose. He is a natural LW, and as we know Gatti finds it hard making LWW. The proposed fight between Gatti and Hatton was for welterweight, but thats gone since Baldy won.

The fight would have been fantastic a couple of years ago i feel, but Gatti hasnt really shown much in that time. Rumour has it he may not fight again, but if he did, and against Hatton, then i believe he loses... 8-9th round stoppage.

Yeah it will be a HUGE upset if this happens. Would shake the division like a earthquake! BUT i just cant see it happening....he is far too fast with his feet and hands for Baldi. Hatton stops Gatti mid-late rounds KO.

Wouldnt just shake the division it would shake the boxing world!! Baldomir is going in with close to nobody expecting him to come close to a win.

Agreed...100%...but I keep going back & forth on it...not sure if he could beat Floyd...but then the next day...Baldo's on a good streak.

Yeah he's on a good streak, but I think there's a reason he has as many losses as he does, and Floyd will be more than enough to make sure Baldo CAN'T win, imo... I mean really, what do you consider his chance to be?? The only possible way is if he could seriously hurt Floyd with a single punch, and I don't think his power is all that.

If that happened i'd rather see Hatton-Baldomir (a better style matchup for Ricky than Collazo)

But I really don't think it will happen

hmmm.... Baldomir walks around at around 190 and he's a natural welterweight and Hatton walks around at around 210 and he's a natural light welterweight.... interesting....

That would be some fight, both rugged up in your face fighters who smother you.
    Interesting fight there.

ANd to answer the question about Gatti, that would be NO.
    Gatti needs to retire.

I really really think you guys are over rating Baldo's chances,I think he MAY cause PBF problems for the odd round here and there, maybe at the beginning of the fight but other than that,if he gets close to Floyd,I would be SHOCKED. Floyd is not Gatti or Zab,he's far superior and should win easily. The only thing I'd like to see is Baldo land flush a few times,Floyd has not tasted real WW power before and even though Baldo's power is pretty poor,it may surprise Floyd?

P4P KING nailed it,he has 9 losses for a reason and has not changed his style dramatically from those losses. In fact, barely anything has changed! The guy came along at the right time, beat 2 names and is living a dream, kudos to him but the dream ends with PBF.

I'm not over rating his chances.

I don't think that he can beat Floyd...but stranger things can happen & a lot of these oldies but goodies are fast proving that with a little heart & some determination & gas in the tank...they can cause today's gents some issues.

I don't belive that it will be a cake walk for Floyd...but I'd love to see him get into some issues...just to see how he get's right back out.

Believe you me,I'd LOVE to see Floyd get into ALOT of issues with old baldozar but I just don't see it.
