Is this talk of him moving up to 147 true?
If so I cannot in my mind or anyones elses right mind think why he is doing this?
He is good at his weight, certainly not the best, but he has given alot to this sport, including one of the greatest fights, in my opinion, ever....
However, his chin is suspect, Castillo albeit, weighing in heavier, dropped him in 4....and should have finished the first, although thats a whole different story, many question the Casamayor decisions, and Flloyd made him look silly.
So why move up to 147 to fight naturally big guys, who would just bully him...infact, even at 140 I wouldnt expect him to live with the second teir of Welterweights, and to even think of becoming a World Champion would be a bad idea...
I think even the likes of a super-slick Malignaggi would give Corrales fits, staying 12 with Cotto is no easy feat.
Hatton would ruin his Carreer, Juan Urango would UD Corrales, Witter would beat him, I just feel as he would have to re-start his career, and at his point, time isnt on his side.
I dont think he can clear his own devision up.
Only way to move up is of course fight Castillo at 140, I am sure everyone would love it to happen but then theres Hatton who is rumoured to fight Castillo.
I think that will be a great fight, but Hatton for me will beat Castillo.
That could leave to finally finish the fued of Castillo v Corrales.
Just one look forward, but certainly Corrales at 147....Surely not...
