oh baldomir has a chance, anything could happen and baldomir is capable of a major upset..
he could but he wont... i dont think floyd will take any chances with fights at this stage of his career he'll take the big fights but he'll just be on top of his game and make the fight his.
but it'll be interesting to see none the less

Baldomir is big enough, strong enough, and has good enough conditioning and chin to pull off a major upset, wish he would but at the same time would rather have the Golden Boy knock Mayweather off of his pedestal

I think the interesting thing about this fight is that this is the first fighter PBF has fought since the first JLC fight that has the strength to take PBF out of his game plan. Now whether he has enough ability too we will see, but if Baldomir can find the way to impose his size then he can make it very interesting.

Baldo's cinderella story will come to an end,I have no doubt about it. He;s too slow, you can't even say he has a puncher;s chance because he is not a big puncher. And you can't say he is the biggest guy Floyd has faced because I think JLC was almost as big(and in an interview,Roger Mayweather says JLC IS bigger than Baldo,Baldo's big head carries most of the weight). I read training notes from Steve Kim(or someone)over at Maxboxing and they said Baldo looked heavy handed, but looked like he was plodding along,no great speed whatsoever and just was generally unimpressive.

That may have been good enough to beat a an unfocussed, lacluster Judah and a beaten up C minus fighter like Zab but we are talking about P4P number 1 talent wise in the world, you need more than just heart and a good chin. Baldo's timing has been great,he's made his $$ but NO WAY does he beat PBF,most of us want to see him slap Floyd around but it jsut won't happen.

he is the fist real welter weight floyd has faced, so he might be too strong. but i think mayweather will box his way to a wide UD

It's not impossible for Baldomir to win, but highly unlikely. If Floyd comes in totally unprepared and fools around too much...Baldomir could catch him with something. But Floyd is too smart for that. He is gonna dance all night and pick him apart. If Baldomir tries to chase Floyd all night, he will run out of gas. Floyd is just too quick in this matchup. If Baldomir is somehow able to cut off the ring and wear Floyd out...he could potentially KO him...considering his strength advantage. I just don't see it happening though. I personally can't stand Floyd...so I hop Baldo can pull off the upset.

Baldo has a chance if he makes it a rough fight, and the ref allows it. He's got to smother PBF and keep from being held. Push him into the ropes, hit him while tied up, etc... That's his chance. It's possible, but unlikely. I think Baldo's chance is much better than any of the fights PBF has taken in the recent past. It should be entertaining.

I would disagree, I think that Judah had a better chance than Baldo does now.

In my opinion it will take a brawler to beat PBF while he is at the top of his game. Judah can't outbox him, and I have always felt that his power was overrated. Baldo is big and strong and a hard worker, if he can push PBF around and wear him down, then he's got a shot. I didn't even really think Judah deserved the fight when Baldo just put a beating on him. I think the only reason Zab didn't get stopped is because PBF is friends with him, and the nutshot...... I highly doubt that PBF will stop Baldo, it will be a decision cause Baldo is very durable and will come in good shape.

No question you have to wear Floyd out...but you will need some speed as well. No question Baldo is strong, works hard, and has a good chin...but he isn't fast. Floyd will come into the fight in great shape...he always does...and he can adapt his style. Can Baldo? If he isn't able to push Floyd around...what will he do? Floyd is far too skilled and slick for him. But I truly hope he pulls off the upset.

Baldomir has a chance.....He could do it....If it was not for the speed factor I would actually pick him but I think he is just to slow

    Agreed.

I think that in the end...Baldo has the will...just not the ways.
