I have never seen Clottey Fight. Does he really stand a chance against Tony? And did anyone see the clottey baldi fight if so I would like to now how it was.

I saw it recently, Clottey was DQed in the 11th and it wasn't that bad of a call really. But I did have Clottey winning 6-3-1 through ten. Baldo has maybe refined his style a bit, but generally the same fighter, Clottey was just more skilled. Clottey wasn't that great last time out IMO, that and the Baldomir fight are the only ones I've seen, but I'm gonna watch the odds on this one, I hardly ever put money on a fight but if Margarito's heavily favored I might put some money on Clottey.

I'm not really a betting man but your right I would throw some money on clottey if hes big underdog.

Your saying you think he has no chance against Tony? I wouldn't go that far at all it's a pick em for me, Clottys a fairly skilled boxer, good counter puncher, and tough as nails. He's fairly slick for the sort of rugged fighter he is, I fully expect him to make Tony look terrible in spots even if he doesn't win. When has Margarito fought anyone who can counterpunch at all... He's fought a bunch of toughmen, and 1 guy who had boxing skills but was terribly chinny(six heads). Clottey can take punishment and knows how to dish it out. This could really be a war imo.

    Mr. King.

I honestly think that Clottey is the better boxer, also...but not by a long stretch.

The only way I believe that Clottey get's stopped is if he get's cockey & trades with Margarito. This quite possibley could ring upset. Clottey has the tools to go 12 rounds & eek one out...but does anyone believe that Arum let's that happen? Nope. Me either.

Yea that's what makes me like Clotty's chances even more really.. Because if it gets into the late rounds, well Margarito hasnt been there in a good while, and certainly never against decent competition has he ever been pushed into the late rounds. It's a big test for both guys. CC back.

Admittedly...I have'nt followed either one of them that closely of late...so it's hard for me to really make a nailed down prediction.

The thing is...I like Margarito...but not enough to say that I am a fan. I think that he's fun to watch just due to the power factor...but I don't buy into the hype & I honestly get irrate when people dis Floyd's record, but boost Margarito's.

That shit just don't add up.

I've seen 4 Margarito fights & 2...maybe 3 Clottey's. From what I have seen...Clottey will fair well if he can stay outside of Marg's jab & box him from the outside...in other words...back peddle.

I like what's been written here, you guys are true fans,I know you don't like Tony much but admit Clottey will be tough rather than passing him off as a bum, which he is not at all. I think Clottey, is rugged, but surprisingly skilled, good power, can counter well and I think he will win the early ounds but Tony comes on strong as the fight goes on,it's traditional although in the last couple of years,he's been scoring early KO's. I am slightly worried at Tony's activity levels but then Clottey hasn't exactly been amazingly active either though.I fancy Margarito by late tko.

I did a review of the Baldo fight,Baldi has not changed much at all since that fight and I had Clottey winning most rounds, shaking Baldo up a few times and just being too quick for Baldo and countering him alot. I watched it a again a few days later and I honestly think PBF will massacre Baldo. IF a guy like Clottey can do that to Baldo, what will PBF do>!
