Vargas vs. Mosley - 28/02/2006 - 420,000
Mayweather vs. Judah - 08/04/2006 - 375,000
De La Hoya vs. Mayorga - 06/05/2006 - 925,000

Mayweather vs Baldomir - 11/04/2006 - 325,000
2005 -
Morales vs. Pacquiao - 19/03/2005 - 350,000
Barrera vs. Fana - 09/04/2005 - 75,000
Trinidad vs. Wright - 14/05/2005 - 450,000
Gatti vs. Mayweather - 25/06/2005 - 365,000
Hopkins vs. Taylor - 16/07/2005 - 375,000
Barrera vs. Peden - 17/09/2005 - 115,000
Tarver vs. Jones III - 01/10/2005 - 450,000
Taylor vs. Hopkins II - 03/12/2005 - 425,000
Considering the fact that Tarver vs Hopkins only did 330,000 and Morales vs Pacquiao II only did 355,000, I'd say Floyd's drawing power is strong. If he can get 325,000 for fighting a journeyman with 10 losses on his record, then imagine how much he could get fighting Shane Mosley or someone nameworthy. Considering that De La Hoya only did 350,000 against Sturm, I don't know how anybody can say Mayweather can't draw. Star power isn't everything, people pay to see big matchups. People will either pay to see him because they like him or will pay on the off chance that he might be knocked out. People pay to see good matchups, and this really wasn't one. I mean look at the numbers that Pacman, Barrera, Hopkins, Jones, and Tarver have done. It's obvious that after ODLH, Mayweather is HBO's biggest draw.
