He better blast Manfredo out.
That's all I can say.

Thats because most of the American public (and the same goes for the British too) know sod all about boxing and just want to see a bit of blood and a big KO, Hopkins knows boxing and sees what a talent Joe is and what a huge fight this could be. |

That's all I can say. | If Mora had power at 160 he would have. Calzaghe has power at 168 and can explode too.
Lets not forget Manfredo fought Pemberton and Spina and Spina had him stunned in the first round.
I don't give Manfredo a chance against Calzaghe. But if Manfredo puts up a fight I think Joe is gonna retire on injuries and never fight another real fighter

Personally though...I'm more for pure boxers than I am some one dimensional knockout artist...but a good mix of both aint a bad thing. Quote: |

Also...it worries me that Joe's hands will give out on him in this fight. Huge risk here...little reward. Quote: |

I love both guys...but it's hard to say who's gonna say yes & no to the terms. Hopkins is right on one thing...he's the draw. Quote: |

In regards to hopkins v Joe, he needs ot understand that this could be the final stepping stone, i would think sumin like 65/35 maybe 60/40 purse split to hopkins? there will be one hell of alot of people form the uk paying to see that if its PPV |

Hopkins sure as shit wouldn't.
Honestly...I think that the fight will probably never materialize. We shall see though.
It would suck up a shitload of viewers on both sides of the pond. | |
