Hoping to buy one off the fight night games tomorrow,but not sure which one to get,was going to get Fight Night Round 3 but now have heard that the older round 2 version is better...Then someone told me you cant keep throwing haymakers in round 3 so this makes gameplay better in it so that made me think it would be better....Would be greatfull for advice from anyone that has played those games..

Is the same list off fighters in both games...

I have both (started with FNR3), the gameplay is better in 3 but everything else is better in 2. The one thing I dont like about 3 is when you get parried you freeze for like 3 or 4 seconds before you can move again. So you can get whaled on. I think 3 is easier than 2, you dont have to use your defense as much, you can rely on your chin a bit more. With FNR3 the game automatically moves you up and down in weight, but with 2 you decide when to move up or down.

Personally I prefer 2.
