Default Peter ko's Maskiev and then meets Klitchko in rematch.

After Sam Peter ko's Oleg, he will meet Dr. Steel Hammer in a rematch and this time Klit will not be able to be a Killer Robot. Peter too big and now too skilled and motivated.............yes I said too "skilled." The rematch requires a careful breakdown.

BTW,Toney's comments after the fight suggest the possibilty of some brain damage. Talk about disrespect. Peter, on the other hand, was a breath of fresh ait in this era of trash talk.

I don't have time for a full breakdown, but here's some food for thought. Peter figured out how to use his reach against a much shorter Toney. He controlled distance with his jab all night. He alternated between pawing with it and throwing for damage. Against Wlad, he will be at a reach disadvantage to a fighter with a very good jab. He showed against Toney that be can box from the outside and throw some combos. We'll need to see how he'll react to someone with a long ja. He needs to fight inside to win, the opposite of what he needed to do against Toney.

If Peter tries to fight on the outside vs Wlad he's just going to eat those big 1-2's the whole fight. I see a rematch unfolding in much the same manner as the first fight only this time without Wladimir getting knocked down.

I think Wladimir has a ton of confidence going in to a rematch with Peter he had Sam hurt BAD and I think he'd do it again only earlier.

Wlad stops Sam in 10....stuns him with a left hook and follows up with big punches

I also see the uppercut being extremely useful when Sam tries to get on the inside

....people forget how dominant Wlad was in that win over Sam Peter....yeah he was knocked down 3 times....but who gets knocked down 3 times only to win by over 3 rounds!!!

I'm saying Wlad will be not only confident in his skill but confident with his skill vs Sam Peter, whereas, Sam Peter will be confident with his skill but less confident vs Wladimir....he threw everything at Wlad and couldn't stop him.

I see Wlad and Manny putting together a game plan that totally dwarfs any improvement Sam Peter has made

If peter can outbox toney, he can take wlad.

I totally agree. This time I think the referee would be more concious of the punches behind the head that Peter likes to throw.

Wladimir is much harder puncher than Toney, has a bigger reach than Toney and has a win over Peter already.Wladimir would have destroyed Toney if he had been in Peter's place.

He was in no way dominant.. And Peter was in no way as good as he fought last night. Wlad won every round that he wasn't dropped in, you could call that dominant... But the way I see it, he fought a very limited guy and every time he took a good shot he was knocked down... I would favour Wlad in a rematch as well, you have a point that he did discover late that he could hurt PEter... But then again will he really try and do so while Peter still has his stamina?? THat gives SAm a chance to lower the boom on Wlad.. If anything I think Klitschko will try and fight the same way, and he has a good chance of winning doing so, but Peter has definetly picked up a few tricks and it will be interesting to see if he can use them against Wlad. This rematch definetly has to happen now, it's the only fight worth a god damn at HW imo.

Peter has vastly improved....but so has Wlad. SAtyles make fights and Peter's is perfect for Wlad.

what was jt's game plan? It was hard to see what he wanted to do.

Seemed random - was he going for KO or points? I dont get it.
