unless kessler gets badly badly beat there is prolly a rematch clause in it - and i got a feeling this one will go to the cards

What's Witter's offer? A ticket to the event or more likely a bribe to stay away? They can't want him to fight surely, everyone will have left the arena before Floyd and Oscar even get into the ring.

Can there be a rematch-clause when Andrade is a mandatory defence?

Anyway IF Abdrade beats Kessler is a HUGE if. Doubt anyone are making specific plans for that eventuality.

In the event it happens Froch should not be first in line. He needs to show himself worthy against better oposition first.
With his convincing win over Tatevosyan Bute has proven more bespite being much younger. Bute is a much bigger threat than Froch will ever be. But i know he's not british - and I guess that's all that matters to some.

Hey 'DUM' Dane, take Bute's love-pump out of your mouth for 1 moment please! Everytime i read your posts its about Kess beat Calzaghe / Bute beats Froch / I hate Britain.

Lets disect the comment - Mmmm Tatevosyan ?

The same Tatevosyan that has fought most of his career as a middle weight ? (21 to be precise, only 5 at super)

    A dude that stands at 5'10 against a former light-heavyweight in Bute who's 6'2 ?

The same dude who's first loss on points was to a guy with a record of 15wins 16 losses ?

Who was beat up by Karmazin about 5 years ago..then by Eastman.

In fact, his only achievement was the absolutely ridiculous decison he won over Devy Gogiya - one that resulted in an investigation of bribery.

I thought Froch was fighting for the EU title? imo this will be a tough fight for carl but it aint out of his reach! if he wins this fight JC should fight him and i will rate carl froch in the top 3 at 168!

I think the states would love Carl Froch's style, but he'd have his hands full against Lucian Bute. That's be a proper fans fight and a 50-50 one IMO. I'd give the edge to Froch, purely cos Bute seems a bit untested. Same could be said for Froch but he seems to have a higher degree of experience, and a lot of power.

I can see this fight being an amazing match up but i can only see Froch being the winner. I've followed carl for a long time now and he improves every fight, Rob Mccracken is the man and i can see Carl being a champ! This fight should be taken imo cos he will get a shot if he wins!

I've seen some Bute fights though, he's a brilliant fighter, undefeated, yet unteseted, but a really good fighter. Froch has shown a few weaknesses, but i think he would either knock bute out, or lose a cofortable decision.

I'm not 100% sure how to explain this but i feel that because Carl has the weakness's he works on it in the fight and he may look weak! but he is still in control of it all and he pulls of the win from nothing ie brian magee! the punch he landed was insane, but i feel if a fighter was in with Carl they would have to be on the back foot and not get in front of those fists of his. Carl Froch is going places at 168 and i feel he will be a champ soon!

i can see the attraction of calzaghe v froch if froch won a belt, but tbh at calzaghes point he needs taylor, hopkins winky, miranda fights next, not carl froch. froch will do nothing at all for joes career
