I'd never bet against prime Tyson mauling someone. When a guy like Cus D'Amato believes wholeheartedly that he could step into the ring with the likes of Ali and hold his own/potentially win, you just can't bet against him.

Well what do you define Tyson's "prime" years as?
Because Tucker went 12 rounds with Tyson in '87, so did Bonecrusher Smith. Those guys survived. Is prime Tyson strictly the guy who fought Spinks?

This is pretty poor logic. Larry Holmes was 36 years old and past his prime when he lost to Spinks. Holmes is a great champion, but he wasn't great anymore by the time Spinks beat him.
I think a prime Holmes would've beaten Tyson just like a prime Lewis would. And this isn't even mentioning a prime Ali, who would've run circles around Tyson.

The only people that lasted any length of time against Tyson in his prime did so because they weren't fighting to win, they were trying to survive.

Lennox is a natural competitor and he would've fought to win, not survive like Bonecrusher and Tucker, and he would've lost, most likely within the first 5 rounds.
