Looked a decent prospect 3 years ago.

Hasn't shown any signs of improvement since then. Always looks out of shape, could probably lose 14 lbs with ease.

I get the feeling he has talent but right now seems not to have any real hunger. He's only 24 or so though so bags of time to develop bearing in mind most of the heavies are over 30 nowadays.

He seems to possess some power, against tomato cans at least, but is nearly always getting outboxed or struggling against a nobody opponent before his power shows and he stops them around rounds 5 or 6.

That seems to be the usual pattern for all of his fights that I have seen.

I expect he will have another 10 or 15 fights against journeymen and no hopers over the next couple years before they even think of stepping up his competition.

Expect to see him on the fringes of the world title scene in around 4 years with a record of 45-0 with his most recognisable opponent having been someone of the calibre of Jameel McCline or Monte Barrett

No way is he anyhwere near ready for John Ruiz or Sergio Lyakhovich!

They would both own him really really badly.

He's not even ready for Scott Gammer or Danny Williams yet, he has fought absolutely nobody at all.

He won't get anwhere near even a commonwealth title for another 18 months.

They will develop him slowly but surely.

He needs to work on his conditioning big time as well.

Just checking his weight history on boxrec last time out he weighed 243 lbs which was an all time heavy for him.

He needs to get down under 230 lb if he wants to be a player. He's only 6 ft 3 he shouldn't be coming in weighing the same as James Toney, especially not at 24.

He hasn't even fought anyone ranked in the top 100 yet!

The biggest name on his record is a 10 round points win over Julius Francis, a guy who has now lost his last 14 fights.

Alexi Varikin took him 6 rounds and that guy gets knocked out by everybody! He's been KO'd 4 times in the first round, 6 times in the 2nd round and 14 times overall.

And it was an even fight up to the knockout.

He's not doing anything at all in the division right now.

Yeah I thought he looked good in a youtube video I saw of him on another board. Bilbo pointed out that the video was probably dated back to a few years ago and he seems to know a lot more about the guy then me....it's probably safe to take Bilbo's word and assume he's shit

It's not that I think he can't be something, he just hasn't shown anything at all. His fight against Varakin the commentators were saying beforehand that it needed to be a real breakout fight for him, that if his career wasn't going to come to a standstill he needed to look good and get him out inside two rounds, which Skelton, Chagaev, Sanders and around 8 others had already done.

The result was that it was a pretty even fight for 5 rounds and the commentators were becoming embarrased for him.

He ended with an impressive knockout but it was very much like an early Audley Harrison fight. He looked equally lethargic and unispiring last time out on the undercard of the Moorer and McCall comeback show.

He could be something, but right now I think he's young and more interested in partying really, as his ever expanding waistline seems to indicate.

I'm not ruling him out for the future but in 5 years he's come on about as much as Harrison did in his 5 years upto the Williams fight.

A glimmer here and there, but at no time could you say, 'Hey that was impressive'.

Audley would beat him inside three rounds. Fact.

    That says it all.

    That is all.
