i think this guy is bonkers but has a great passion to train people and get the best out of them, i been watching the sweet science whn he is training roy jones for his fight with john ruiz and some of the stufff he comes out makes alot of sense, he kept tellin roy he was a f16 fighter jet and incoprated boxing into a fighter jet although it sounds bonkers it did make alot of sense, he was conditioning roy and to me it looked like he was doing all the same stuff as roy or maybe it was the way it was edited but he 1 fit mofoo,

whats your views on him??

I have alot of respect for mackie... Basically..Hes funny as hell and a bit of a geek..
But at the same time.. He has to be respected because he knows a great deal. And like yoiu said has a great passion for his line of work and is very effective..

my views are he is 3-0 in moving fighters up in class to win world championships. if you are moving up in weight and want to maximize your strength and speed, shilstone is the guy you want in your corner, no question. yeah he can seem weird and eccentric. most geniuses are.
