But in this case we'll make an exception...

I just got so much Joy out of watching Ishe Smith Tear Manfredos azz up... I'll be rooting for Peter and the upset because I think Calzaghe needs a reality check and a little humility, sadly I think Joe will beat him to an inch of his life though.

Anywho, enjoy watching Ishe take Manfredo to the wood shed in this sparring session

I remember watching it back when Ishe originally posted it on boxingtalk last year.

I think it was just after the Pemberton fight as Shay wanted to somehow get some glory for beating the man that just knocked out Pemberton.

I remember Manfredo posting at the time that he was out of shape and had just flown over to help Smith prepare for a fight and was jetlagged.

He also admitted that Ishe bested him on the first day but claimed that the second day after a decent rest that he dominated Ishe the following day and challenge Ishe to put that session online.

To my knowledge Ishe never did.

To be honest I always thought Ishe was a wanker for posting his little sparring sessions online, I mean how unprofessional can you get?

It was kind of a funny irony that against Sechew Powell Kellerman et all were discussing Ishe and saying that really all he is destined to be is a top sparring partner.

No offense but I don't care what people do when they are sparring. If what they do during sparring does not translate to the ring during an official fight then it means squat to me.

Ishe had the chance to show the world how great he is and he blew it.

I bet we see Ishe fighting back on those Mexican Telefutura cards again or fighting in a school gym.

I know one thing for sure there wil be no more HBO for him. Unless Mark Burnett wants him back on HBO's next reality TV boxing series

I think Ishe burned that bridge too.

There's still plenty of options out there for him. He'd make a great opponent for Verno Phillips, (who he keeps calling out), John Duddy, Vernon Forrest etc.

I fully expect to see him back on our screens in some form before 12 months is up.

He does have talent, disappointed against Powell but I'll cut him some slack as he really hasn't had a proper 10 round fight for years and was facing a southpaw for the first time in his pro career.

He came on strong at the end and I'd say would have the beating of Powell in a 12 round rematch.

He's not to be counted out yet.

Agreed. what happens in the gym should stay in the gym, the only time tape should be rolling in the gym is for training purposes between you and your coach, and released only if both parties agree. at least that’s my feeling on it. gym sparring sessions are often misleading , as one guy is usually there to help the other.. another words, the match is not always full on. .
