    Default Adamek, Golota Update

Golota is fighting in France on March 17 against 38 year old Ray Lunsdorf (18 wins, 6 loss, 2 D, 7Ko

Adamek is back with his old trainer Gmitruk ( Mggirt will still be there ) , Gmitruk left him after the first Briggs fight over financial disputes. Don Kings is trying to organize Erdei - Adamek later on this year

Thanks. I am not down with the heavy weights but Golota is worth watching just in case he does something crazy in the ring.

BTW you got the other guys name wrong. It's Ray Lunsford not Lunsdorf but I am dyslexic and I was able to read it just the same.
LOL I was looking on BoxRec and there was no Lunsdorf.

    CC for the post.

O man I feel sorry for Lunsford. I pray for his health. I really hope Golota doesnt permanently damage him. How much is he getting paid? How does it feel to know that you will be pounded unconscious by a gigantic foul Pole?

Reminds me many years ago, David Tua was sparring with Andrew Golota in Houston. Andrew just could not keep it clean when pressed .. So in true Golota fashion he threw his trade mark triple groin shot. without hesitation David fired off one of his text book left hooks only it was to the Andrew Golota ball sack , I’m talking full Leverage, textbook ! Andrew lay rolling on the canvas for a good 10 minutes , needless to say the sparring session was over. ! Was priceless !

Golota triple groin shot this has to be pre Bowe.....
The hook Tua threw I'm picturing it like the one he landed on Moorer but to the groin..... If so then ouch!!

I’m bad with dates Mick , but yeah it was in that time period .. slightly before the first match with Bowe I believe . O yeah the hook it was full force, Tua actually stepped into it a bit.. excellent leverage, and as for the sparring match as a whole it was a good war. tit for tat. Andrew is a physically strong man, and would push Tua back a bit at times , Tua would do the same thing right back and push Andrew around a bit . Goleta did not handle someone coming right back at him well , even in the gym he was a bit off the hinge. Andrew's mental makeup was very puzzling .

Welll , Golota fight is canceled due to his opponent having some visa problems or sumtin of the kind,
Wlodarczyk vs Cunnungham is also on the line cuz Cunningham is injured - dont know how serious it is yet

The shame about Golota is he always comes in, in fantastic shape, not an ounce of fatm and he can jab and mix it up, he just acts like a rabbit in the headlights sometimes

His team had to put a wallet inbetween his teeth during his warm up for the Lewis bout because he was hyper ventilating

He took an almighty shot off Mike Tyson and may well have outlasted Mike had he not had some sort of mental problem, he did suffer a broken vertibrae and a broken cheek bone, maybe the pain of those injurys was too much to bare but he was holding his own

golota is good for the sport, he keeps trying and is always physicaly fit

True, IMO i think he can beat Maskaev and has a big chance vs valuev. Wlad is a tough fight but if Golota gets him with a big shot, whoo knows, both have weak chins, Briggs on the other hand, I have a bad feeling he'd catch golota and KO him, could be a lamon brewster fight
