i've been saying for years that i reckon mosley would beat floyd. he can match him for speed, hits harder and has bigger balls so would be willing to fight him aswell as box him.
that would be a fantastic fight though. 2007 is an awesome year for boxing.

He had his chance to fight him on many different occasions and he decided to go in another direction, now that Floyd is focused on Oscar we are hearing all this bullshit, Shane had his chance and he did not want it, he should fight Cotto or Margarito.

As quick as Mosley has 'returned' from the drudges of boxing he would spiral back after a match-up with Mayweather. PBF is a defender on par with Winky Wright and you can clearly see the frustration in the middle rounds and how Mosley gives up with his body language in both losses to Wright.

Zab Judah was faster than Mayweather too. Where did that lead him? Mosley is frustratable if he can't get an expected result. I saw PBF in person weighing around 150 and he looks very natural there. Mayweather will remind Mosley how old he really is.

Let's see how Floyd is farting after the Delahoya fight. After he comes to his senses I'd like to see a fluid Shane Mosely put Mayweather on the ropes.

I agree about the body language used by Mosley liquid

    HOWEVER

Forrest and Wright were tall fighters fighting behind their 1-2 combinations and they were both bigger than Shane as well.

Now I like Shane and his speed is good his power is good but he can be easy to hit sometimes too. Shame Tito Trinidad ain't around to fight him.

SSM w/ Tito wouldv'e been a good fight. I think Mosely is at his best weight, he's comfortable he can now let his combinations loose.

Honestly since styles make fights I'd like to see Shane Mosely fight Kassim Ouma.

But by the same token PBF's defense is better than Forrest and on par with Wright's. Winky is only an inch and a half taller than Mosley and PBF is at least 5'8", perhaps closer to 5'9" than you'd think. PBF definitely can't KO Mosley; his chin comes with a solid resume, but Mosley will wilt once he realizes everything he has can't add up to a victory over PBF.

Mosley-Floyd is the logical matchup at 147 for later this year. If Cotto can dispatch Zab and then beat another quality guy in late '07 (Margarito?), then that would set up a Floyd-Cotto showdown in mid-'08.

Assuming Floyd beats Oscar, I make him a solid favorite to beat Shane.
Shane is fast, but not as fast as Floyd, and Floyd is much much more versatile.

This fight was going to happen until Shane made a mistake and decided to fight Winky for a warm up. It was brave but stupid. I would have loved a Sugar Shane Vs Tito fight.

It's terrible, and to make things worst Winky had to closed the deal on both of them. A shame really they're both good fighters, Winky's style is enough to make anybody look bad.

I agree with the Cotto part...but I'd like Mosley to fight either Hatton/Cotto/Williams,etc..b4 seeing him take on PBF.I just wasnt convinced that after one good fight he is at that level again
