He does lack skill as far as footwork and ring generalship, sometimes he'll stand in one place for too long BUT he is throwing punches so hes not just standing not doing nothing.....

Hes not afraid to stand there and trade though Kessler is probably slightly faster then Andrade. I think Adrande can put his punches together better then Kessler and mixes it up a bit more....
Andrades best chance is attack Kessler to the body which Andrade does very well, Andrade attacks body, body, head he mixes it up to me thats his best chance attack the body and try to take Kessler all the way into the later rounds also Andrade fights busier.....
As far as a jab I sware to me their jab is almost indentical Andrades might be heavier as I think he puts his whole body into it but Kesslers jab is faster and is more of a range finder.....

All in all i think it's gonna be a good scrap once both get warmed up.....
CC in 24. From the sounds of it he's not the type of guy made to beat Kessler.

Also, Kopitko is a very exciting fighter, would have loved to see that fight.

If Andrade believes that he can take Kessler#s power,he will beat up on Kessler. The guy throws so much leather(from the 2 fights I have seen) and reminds of of a technically more sound, bigger Margarito! He's dam tough too. I believe Kessler's experience will be too much for him and I think Kessler takes it tko 11. I hope I'm wrong though. It should be a super fight!

I'm really not following that either. Zertuche was a short awkward fighter who got hit at will and never really fired at Pavlik all out. Andrade sounds like the total opposite.

Gotta give credit to Kessler for fighting Andrade, the guy hits hard & is well schooled. I feel it will be evenly contested. Andrade may do more damage but Kessler is faster & better technically.

I hoping for a great fight & feel Kesslers speed will lead him to a close decision.

Honestly...I've given Kess credit since day 1.

I think he's got what it takes to give Joe the fight of his life.

Again, I'd be shocked if he lost this match. Andrade is good...but he aint that good...atleast I hope not...but this is boxing...anything can & will happen.

Andrade could be the perfect foil for Kess as I believe that he's going to be angling to make a statement for HBO.

I believe that Joe is avoiding Kessler for the same reason.

From Tigerboxing I read this piece: http://tigerboxing.com/articles/inde...aid=1001245967

"Joe Calzaghe made a bizarre comment last week, saying, “I'm around at the wrong time” to explain his lack of big fight opportunities, adding that, “The super middleweight division is sparse.”

Come again? The 168-pound line-up is better than it's ever been, probably will ever be. Which is why it’s so disappointing to hear that his promoter Frank Warren has his eye on IBF paper champion Alejandro Berrio, as the Welshman's late 2007 opponent.

Last Saturday, Berrio knocked out Robert Stieglitz, picking up the title that Calzaghe vacated (after winning it from Jeff Lacy), and Warren told the UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph of his wishes to match Calzaghe with the Venezuela fighter.

One thing is certain – after calling out Berrio, the Calzaghe camp won’t be able to use the excuse that Kessler isn’t well known enough! "

But again the Kessler-Andrade fight is the realdeal 4 now

Here's the thing...I agree with you. Really...I do.

The Kessler vs Andrade fight is the real deal as of right now. Honestly...I wanted to see Stieglitz vs Calzaghe. Not really sure what went wrong agaisnt Berrio...IWO...he aint the better man...but as I am so fond of saying...this is boxing & anything can & will happen.

Hence the reason that I have begun to lean towards Kessler a bit against Calzaghe if the match ever materializes...but it works out one or two ways...

#1: Kessler has to win this one big. He struggles against Andrade or loses it...Warren's got his out.
#2: Calzaghe either struggles & get's injured...he's got his out.

The fans WANT & NEED this fight as much as the fighters do.

cc back bro, you honestly given credit to Kessler since day1? Even though he's only fought outta Denmark like twice? I give him credit for his wins over Thobela, Siaca, Mundine Lucas & Beyer. But the best fighter I think he's faced is Mundine! I also would slightly favor Calzaghe if they fought but I think it would be an extremely competitive battle. That fight that needs to happen next!!! The only reason I would accept for the fight not to be made is if Calzaghe faces Taylor, or the winner of Wright/Hopkins.

From what little I've seen of Andrade he looks real solid techically speaking, he always has his right hand up high, even inside.Throws straight compact shots. I havent seen him against anyone that was a real threat tho so we will see. Kessler is solid as well, and has 14 more fights than Andrade under his belt.I originally picked around 5th round K.O but I'm starting to think this may go longer, being that they can both box well. Andrade is gonna try to get inside I think, he ooked pretty good for a tall guy inside.Kessler does his best work at a distance, this is gonna be about range.Although Andrade is big enough to box with Kessler at range.

I jeard Andrade and Kessler once sparred? Anyone have any info? Win lose or draw,if Andrade puts in a good performance, his stock should rise. He has the style to at least take Kessler out of his rythm, something no one has been able to do as of yet. No one will have gone to Kess body like Librado will. He'll try to unsettle Kess. This could be a really great match!!

Yep. I've honestly given him credit since day one. Trust me...caught much flack over it.

I seriously SERIOUSLY doubt that Calzaghe will fight Kessler, though.

    Oh! man!!
The Andrade vs. Kopitko scrap was a good one eventhough it was just 2 rounds... In the 1st round eventhough Andrade dropped him Kopitko didn't go down without a fight and fired back at Andrade....
In the 2nd Andrade just came out swinging but Kopitko managed to catch Andrade with a right before he got caught and Kopitko wen't down for the count.....
