I love tough, under-talented, big-hearted fighters. That kid is tough. I knew once walked through that perfect straight right that he was going to ware Rodriguez down. That punch looked like it should have snapped Jesse's head off, but he just kept coming. Good stuff.

I agree about liking the underdogs. Saying Feliciano doesn't have talent is misleading though. There aren't very many people that can take a punch like he can, and also there aren't many guys who will keep fighting the entire time even when they are getting dominated. That is a whole different category of talent. Puts him in the Gatti, Ward,Mancini category of talent if you ask me.

I like to see guys like this get a big payday. Those are the guys that deserve it. Like Baldomir,Glen Johnson, etc.... Great attitude and just the kind of guys that give boxing a good name.
True true, but I didn't say he doesn't have talent. Undertalented does not = Untalented. He just doesn't have enough to a GREAT fighter. Heart, determination, and are a certain kind of talent, and it's not like he has ZERO skill. He is guy, just like the other names you mentioned, who can fight a little, maybe even a lot, over their head. They have to make up for deficits in speed and power with grit and heart. I love that kind of figher.

You're a good man Bilbo take 704 on me. I remember that I was on about 620 myself and I knew this day would draw near, just hoping that mercy would be spared upon me.

You could tell in about the fifth round that Rodriguez was starting to get tired and that it was gonna be rough down the stretch. I thought he might have able to hold on and get the win, cause I don't think of Feliciano as a puncher. But a shaky chin and he was exhausted, also why not hold on in that round, he didn't hold at all. I guess he was just too out of it.

That was a fatal strategic mistake. By engaging Jesse, he went to war with a brawler. Bad move!
