2 big flaws I've seen from him that have never been corrected and if they were I would feel a hell of a lot better in regards to his chances against the elite at 160/168/175. Not that he would ever drop to 160 but if he was really that impressive then 160 lbers should be lining up to fight him.
Either great minds think alike or drunken minds can come up with good thoughts from time to time.

Kess still has the flaws...but he did better this go around. He was defensively on the point this match.
    Thanks Wacko.

Ok so knowing that puts my mind at ease a bit just because I get a little better picture of the fight. Honestly I'm glad to hear Kessler is doing good. It's a bit bittersweet as I'm still a Lacy guy but Kessler is an exciting fighter who aside from one idiotic fan and a few terrible tattoos can do the division nothing but good. Hope I can see this one soon.

Great fight! That's the first whole fight of Kessler's I've seen. I thought he was gonna get intimidated at the beginning, and he did look frustrated a bit after he nailed Andrade and got grinned at, but he stayed sharp through the fight. Great movement and sharp punches - I'd like to see him fight again.

Kessler put on a great performance. And that's going to hurt him. It gives Calzcrappy yet another reason to duck him. Kessler is the number 1 Super Middleweight at the moment. Not Calzaghe.

Kessler has alot of tools, but I think it's premature to think of him beating Joe. I can't see it happening at this point, but he would give Calzaghe a run for his money. I can say that with certainty.

Kessler was very impressive. Andrade was equally impressive with his ability to absorb punishment without showing any cuts or markings on his face. Adrade had tons of heart, but little skill. Kessler is very tight and efficient. A fight between kessler and any top boxer would be exciting. This is the first time i saw Kessler fight. I'd like to see a Calzaghe/Kessler matchup. They both could help each others careers.

I voted, "I'm sold." I think Kessler has something for Calzaghe. After tonight I'd rather see Calzaghe-Kessler than I would Calzaghe-Hopkins or Wright.

I'm not sold yet, but I'm very impressed with him. Complete shut-out performance tonight. I'm pissed that I missed it. My friend is now raving about Kessler.

To Kessler's credit, Andrade really looked like an amatuer tonight. He rushed in, looked sloppy and had no sense of footwork. I could further express my dissapointment with Librado but instead I'll admit that Kessler looked like he deserved the belts tonight. Not an overwhelmingly great fighter, but technically sound with pinpoint accuracy. If he takes the road less traveled by European fighters and truly takes on all comers I'll be sold.

I guess it's just hard for me to root for a fighter I should want to like but has a lot of tattoos. I call it the Tapia effect.

The supermiddle division is deceptively deep and there should be some good matches if they can be made. I say deceptively because there aren't many superstars but plenty of outside contenders who are one shot away from HBO status. Not to mention Pantera.

he was real easy to hit and seemed to be confused when pressured which wouldnt be a good trait to take into a calzaghe fight...

Kessler made Andrade look bad, Andrade was ranked high by all the different experts, but Kessler is on another level. I believe that Kessler -Calzaghe would be great but doubt that will ever happen. Apart from that I know they want Kessler to go to USA for the next fight. But who should he face there ?, I believe that best figther are in Europe at the moment.

Personally I hope they will give Mundine a rematch down under.

Kessler is the real deal. Ive been saying for a long time that he is second to only Calzaghe.

It was a very impressive performance against Andrade.

I hope a fight with Calzaghe happens next. It would be a huge fight, especially now Kessler has had his chance to shine on HBO. There would be stateside approval too...
