Default Tarver will beat the Kosovo Kid like a rug.

Antonio Tarver and Elvir Muriqi are schedule to fight, or so I have been led to believe. The Kid will suffer a beat down, even though he has tons of heart! Tarver has faced far better opposition and has too much technique.

That's just a warm up for Tarver

I see no reason for Tarver to have any problems UNLESS he starts slacking and getting very inactive.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Tarver is going to get ready for a bigger fight obviously....Tarver-RJJ 4, Tarver-Dawson, Tarver-Hopkins 2, Tarver-Wright.....I just think Antonio's best days ....never were really that good, much like Oliver McCall's best days weren't that good

Ok I know I'm probably in a minority of one here but I'd love to see Tarver come back and clean up at 175 lb.

He's still a great fighter, has overcome a lot in his life and still has something to offer.

I would like for him to come back....but I would also like to see him battered into submission.

He talks a bigger game than he fights

Yeah it was cool like right after he had KOed Jones but then he didnt really do too much else except split a pair of decisions with Johnson, boringly decision the obviously-already-finished Roy Jones again and get lit the fuck up by an obviously-not-quite-yet-finished Bernard Hopkins. Yet he continues to talk a big game and is as arrogant as ever. He needs to try letting his fists do more of the talking.

Muriqi took part in anunbelievable war a while back with Sam Ahmed out of Philly. Both were donw several times. That fight took something out of him. This is a great bettor's fight and I'd give at leat 8-5 on Tarver. As old as he is, he still has the goods to take out a guy on a lower level.

That was on ESPN 2 right, a couple years ago? Was trying to think of who Muriqi was and thought I might have seen him in a fight where he got dropped a few times and came back. Wasn't Atlas training him?

Anyway, if that's him, even a sluggish, old version of Tarver won't have much trouble.

I agree with Bilbo, I got the same feeling.

Tarver just has not bee n through too many tough fights. He probably has enough left in the tank

Correct on all accounts. Atlas is no longer with him. If The Kid can lure AT into a brawl, it could get interesting.
