    1) i would not do weight at such a young(??spelling??) age
due to the fact that he is still growing and the weight lifting could effect this.
(dunno how this is called in english) but when he has to strong muscles the bones cant grow right or something and he might end up with some back problems or thing like that....ehrg some 1 els might explain this in a better way..
    2) running, skipping, sit up's, and thing he should not do at his 12th year
    (involves a female)
    3).......

Its not good to start weight training at such young ages because the bones are still growing and the weight could limit how tall you are

    True that SP,

yeah I wouldn't encourage your little uncle to work on a 6 pack just yet.

Why, cuz I have a good pal, who's very very active, he has a six-pack that looks like it belongs to a mutant ninja turtle, and when he inhales it would temp ya'to ask "is it a boy or a girl?"

He's also short about 5'6" at age 17, which is strange since he say's his folks aren't like that.

I'm not telling you that your uncle should lay off working out completely, just saying that he shouldn't pursue being that while his body is still growing.

    Also-
I asked a girl a mine about your bruise prob, she uses ProColorRing concealer.

Next time keep those hands up
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

The best way to get a 6 pack is from crying, crying contorts your musles down there.

Cry 10 times a day, and eat right, and you'll have a 6 pack in 3 months

Same thing with me, when I was 13 I went to a military school for a couple of months (where I got introduced to boxing) I was ripped when I left, no six pack. I'm 22 now, I wouldn't say I have a six pack, more of a washboard

I have an 12 pack, better then Batmans.

Everyone has abdominal muscles, its just the fact their covered in fat etc that you cant see them.

There is no point in a 12 year old doing weights either. He can do push ups etc but it will damage his ligaments and cause him to be short. Tell him to do running and do some boxing training at his local gym or whatever

having a 6-pack is mostly about diet, you've got to have low body fat, which he shouldn't aspire for at such a young age. I don't think some bodyweight exercises like push-ups, pullups, squats or leg lifts would hurt him though. if he weight trains to young, he'll look like this kid, lol: http://www.richardsandrak.com/Galleries/12gal5.htm

The whole weight will stop growth thing is a myth. Ive read countless of articles about the weight-height issue and none could provide evidence that weightlifting does indeed stop growth. The only way it could stop growth is if your into powerlifting and somehow damages your bones thus causing the growth plates to shut.

If you go to bodybuilding.com you'll find that lots of people start at 13.

Actually, laughing a lot can work your ab muscles, but only if you laugh very hard, as if you've just met Andre for the 1st time! (Just kidding )

    yeah could B
but when there is no evidence it don't mean it won't happen.
I for 1 would not encourage him to do so
deu 2 the fact that it could happen
and i'm no doc so i cant tell, but somehow i think it does have negative effect
and would not take the risc

    IMO

    Proof:

Just look at the people who do gymnastics - they do it from young and they are muscular - but when you look at them they are so short you might think they are around 16 or so but they are mostly in their early/late 20's

Too much weight lifting at a young age causes stunted growth - the muscles grow faster than the bones and constricts your overall height
