As for how do you like Cory Spinks chances against Jermain Taylor?

I love it...for the undercard. Pavlik vs Miranda.

Truely...I am so sincerely disappointed in "Stuttering Stanley", he coulda been somebody...he coulda been a contendah!
Are you serious Wacko? He beat Hopkins, came close against Wright and beat Ouma. Hopkins, Hopkins, Wright. Coming out of that 2-0-1, I don't care how many disagree with the decisions the fact that he made all of these fights close against the highest of the high is impressive. Somebody? He's top 10 P4P, you can't possibly expect to much more then that?
Deathly. Hopkins won the first fight or atleast drew over a short start. He lost the second fight...I concede.

Taylor lost to Ouma Wright...sorry...he did.

Ouma Wright stood toe to toe with him & battered him up good.

Getting in with higher opp is impressive enough...but anyone can do that. Sure showing out against the tip top is great...but he didn't show out...sorry...he didn't. He backed out.

    I don't consider him top 10. Sorry...I don't.

He's HBO's falling star & that's the way I see it. Unless you win concincingly & you dominate impressively...you aint P4P...you might be on the cusp...but that's it for me.

I used to be a huge "Stuttering Stanley" fan...but he aint done S*** lately to impress me...so don't bring up Hopkins & Wright...because getting a gift & then losing but getting another gift don't flush.

TAYLOR SHOULD DROP HIS WITTLE PANNIES, GRIP THE BOWL, & SHOW THAT TURD WHO'S BOSS!

...because he's goin swirly down the crapper with me & many more fans.

Sorry...meant to type Wright...it's late & I'm on me Fif cocktail.

Ouma battered him & busted him up & that aint right.

He's not gaining fans...don't knoiw what makes you think that...he's loosing fans over his new back out & bail strategy.

Marquez fights with all his heart...while Stanley backs out & get's pressed. Big diff so I agree with 110% of this post.

He's held to a higher standard because he supposedly beat two P4P reigning champs via gift decisions.

    It aint rocket science babe.

Again...everyone nails me...but I like Taylor...but I am a boxing fan first who refuses to be biased.

Who is Miranda talking about? Who is this Yawmean Teyloor? Jermain is really gonna look bad if he doesnt get the k.o. against Spinks. The Miranda Vs. Pavlik should be the headliner The loser of that fight gets to fight Taylor

I don't think Spinks stands a chance in hell at beating JT..... Lets just say he has a better chance at wining the St. Louis lotto then wining this fight....

Spinks just needs this guys again: Jerry Griffin, Melvina Lathan and Manfred Küchler then he will win against anyone....

    This one's an open question...but more for Hulky-Wulky-Loo :

So if Corey uses the ring to outbox Taylor & wins...what then?

Let's back track: If Corey uses the ring to outbox Taylor & wins & get's robbed...what then?
Jab for Jab Taylor wins. Size matters in this fight and Taylor will hit him with his long punches everytime Coreys in range. I dont think hes gonna take his shots well and Corey can use the ring but Jermaine will cut him off and break him down. Personally I think Talor is 1-3 in his last few fights but hes still a big strong Middleweight with a lot to prove. Spinks is Taylor made for him(Dont mean to sound like Larry Merchant with the pun )

There is a reason Spinks got picked for this fight. He is the smaller man with no power, runs a lot with questionable stamina. If Taylor doesnt take him out early then they will wait for Spinks to gas out then take him out. It will be bad for Taylor if he has to wait till Spinks gasses out to get the KO.

Miranda/Pavlik is the only fight worth watching. Taylor/Spinks isnt a fight as much as it is suppose to be a showcase for Taylor. I am starting to lose respect for Taylor. I have argued several times for him, but he is giving me less and less reasons to stand up for him. He needs to start fighting the other belt holders and the winner of Miranda/Pavlik.

Win win situation for Spinks really. He can try his best, lose and move back or win and shock the world. However,he was knocked out at 147 by Judah and Judah is not a huge 147 pounder. JT is a BIG strong 160 pounder,I fully expect JT to win and win easily, probably via stoppage.

I think that Spinks is in over his head.Taylor is too big and too strong. There is a possibility of Spinks winning a split decision BUT If Wright couldnt do it then I dont think Spinks can either.Second, No set of Judges outside of St. Louis is gonna give Spinks a close decision over Taylor.
