    Default Rappaport: Klitschko wouldn't sign!

He says 'Vitali thinks he's going to need a couple of more weeks. He spoke to his trainer and they think he'll need ten weeks.' The bottom line is that Klitschko wouldn't sign the contract."

Wise thing not want to fight before fully fit. The Klitschkos are always well prepared when they show up for a fight. A lot of US heavies could learn from this.

Good idea to warm up before fighting again, he's had such a long layoff

....ummm, go to hell. US heavyweights have OWNED the division and all of a sudden since Tyson, Holyfield, and Bowe have all faded everyone seems to forget Louis, Marciano, Ali, Holmes, Frazier, Foreman, Dempsey, ......hell going all the way back to John L. Sullivan!

The Europeans are doing well and are great fighters but goddamn would you please get off America's ass about the fucking heavyweights!!! We've been there, we'll be there again, there is no reason to make comments like that.

Easy, I am only saying that there is a tendency now for US heavies to show up on fight night with too many pounds on their frame. You might not agree on this and it is fineā€¦..

.....but you are generalizing and it's not true for EVERY US heavyweight.

No one remembers Chris Byrd being fit, Holyfield is STILL fit!!!

Give me examples of such US heavyweights....I would like to know which US heavyweight showed up too heavy for a fight recently
