thank you HBO for creating an entire garbage fight card. Calzaghe v. Mafredo? Khan v. Bull? They should have just featured Calzaghe and Khan fighting 20 or so nursing home residents, or maybe a class of 5th graders.

well calzaghe didnt really impress but when he poured on manfredo was defending really well and when clazaghe misssed like 5 punches in a row the ref stopped it amena i new calzaghe would win but they shouldve of let it kepp going

The ref stopped the fight before calzaghe got winded.I think manfredo would have had a chance after calzaghe shot his wad in the barrage that was not hurting him.

Fucking hate the ref's and judges in boxing, they are all fucking useless.
The first two rounds were nip and tuck, Manfredo lost them but hardly looked outclassed imo.
Calzaghe stepped it up in the third but the ref stopped it before we had a chance to see what would happen.
The way I feel now I'm all but done with boxing. Every fucking weekend a fight is ruined by some fuckwit.

The stoppage was a farce ive never known a fighter ducking under punches get stopped and the punches before that were just pitter patter on Petes gloves glad i did'nt waste my money now going to see it and if the Kessler fight ever happens i will walk down my street naked

We know now. But I am not pissed. Hell we knew how it was going to finish when the fight was signed. As long as Joe made weight and wasn't super super super drunk he was going to win. Broken hands or not.
