Thread: Started watching the Valuev-Chagaev fight

Valuev looks alot skinner, and a little faster which is very good.

Wow Valuev is frustrating to watch he never throws a right behind his jab so its easy to figure him out, and to counter.

lemme jump in this thread so u dont look like ur talking to urslef ................ yeah valuev is improcing but nowhere near enough for top competetion he has a long way to go in short amount of time

That's what I was thinking, he just didn't even throw many power shots. I didn't quite get that, every once in a while he'd throw a right to the back of the head but not often.

He just doesn't have any power so why waste energy with the power punches.

His right cross is goofy looking....it's a very big looping punch with no true power behind it.....I figured if a little guy like Chagaev could get inside on Nicolay it would be easy for them to counter and do damage as long as they stay out of the clinch

They tore valuev apart today on pti. Kornheizer was like "look how much bigger he is and he still lost. That means that hes just not that good"
