Default Baby Bull beats Acelino. What do you think?

This is another case of young and upcoming vs a late career ex champ with a great record. A very tough one to call. I will be near ringside to cover this one. I am leaning toward the Bull becuase of his work rate (he has little power) and ability to wear his opponents down by superior punch volume. Frietas is a cagey veteran who knows how to use the ring (except against Diego) but I do question his heart after seing him do a "no mas," and then wage a bore fest against Raheem. What do you think?

I think the fire that Freitas used to have is gone. Diaz is gonna take the old man to school.

I agree with pretty the entire post. Raheem fight was a bore fest & I think that the Baby Bull wins this one in a fire fight to the finish.

    Default Re: Diaz vs Freitas

Do you fellas have any thoughts or predictions as to an outcome? Will the baby bull make Freitas cry or will his tears be ones of joy after a big victory? In my opinion Freitas has been a borderline great fighter and if not for a tough loss to Corrales where he appeared to have quit he would probably still be considered one of the best in the sport. Diaz is a tough young fighter who is capable of smothering almost anybody with an overwhelming workrate and limitless stamina. He seems to be getting better everytime out although the knockouts aren't coming as frequently. I like Diaz in a competitive and what I assume to be a very entertaining fight.

    What do you guys think?

Well i think if Acelino come in top shape mentally and physically, this break might have done him the world of good, i see him stopping Baby Bull mid to late but if not Baby bull gets the decision.

But im sticking my head on the line Acelino KO 9.

Should be a decent fight....Let's see what kind of heart Freitas has left if he gets hurt at all...and let;s see what Diaz can do when in with a strong experienced guy who has been to the dance before.....IMO it is a good fight to tell everyone what each of them has to offer
