Default Friday Night Fights: Mike Anchondo Vs. Darling Jimenez(Spoiler)

This should be a competitive fight judging by records. I have seen little of Anchando, and never seen Jimenez. Anchondo sports a 27-1 19ko record, with his only loss to Barrios. Jimenez is 22-2-2 and doesnt have anyone big on his list of wins. Jimenez has the reach on him....Anchondo has some of the shortest arms I've ever seen on a boxer. Anyone got any info on Jimenez? Anchondo did show that hes not gonna give up against Barrios..he picked himself up a few times before getting tko'd. Barrios is becoming one of my favorites at the superfeather/lightweight category..why isnt he being mentioned for fights with Paquiao or Marquez, John, Barrerra..any of the top superfeathers?

Man! Anchondos my bwoy!! from So. Cal. baby La Puente

It's good that hes on the comeback what happened against Barrios shouldn't have happened it was too much too soon for him.
But hes back and sounds like hes ready to go, another fighter I wanna see back on the scene is Jose Navarro....

Sucks I'm gonna miss them (but I'll TiVo them) my girl & I are going out tonight....

    TOnights fights should be good.....

William Joppy is listed on the card wonder if they will show it they are showing some up and comers..not impressed with the first guy and Paris looked decent but nothing great against a journeyman at best.

Anchondo is a wrecking ball but Barrios, he wasn't ready for Barrios. Jiminez is going to get rocked if he keeps that left down.

I am ashamed to be from the Baltimore/D.C. area right now...

A round ends a minute early...

The doctor determines the severity of a fighters cut from the comfort of her ringside chair...

Local Baltimore fighter, 6'3" welterweight Cole "The Beanpole" Such-N-Such looks ridiculous and gets floored from a glancing sissy shot on his button chin...

That was a tight left hook, right on the point of the chin at the very beginning of the arc, thats a KO punch.

That was a good fight. That was my first time seeing Anchondo since the Barrios fight. Looked very slow and fought the entire time squared up.

Good on to Jiminez, he really did look good.

Yes, he did. I was happy for him. Still when Ancondo went down like that was was a bit sad for him. He looked like a spooked horse in the eyes lol
