I got that info directly from a Sugar Ray Robinson Documentary, I think its called "Bright Lights Dark Shadows". Its STRAIGHT from SRR's mouth. If he didn't say it himself, I'd be skeptical to believe it.

On the subject of Max Baer deaths, did you guys count Earnie Schaff (sp)? I think he was killed in a bout with Primo Carnera, but most historians attributed it to the blows that he suffered in his fight with Max Baer.

you sick b*stard! You obviously need to be put in a mental institution because you cannot separate fiction from REALITY!!!!! Faces of death was kinda cool when someone is like 13 yrs old...but to be an adult and want to see a person die......sick mofo!!!!!

He died as the result of 18 unanswered punches. That says enough. Boxing was banned from being aired on TV for a few years after that fight. It was that grusome.

There was a young fighter who had his face hammered to pieces a few years back. It turned out that the opponent had no stuffing in his gloves. A while after the kid took his own life. His father said that he had never recovered after the fight. I'm sure somebody on here knows what I'm talking about. In that case it was pretty much murder. GBH at least.

Yeah, it was Panama Lewis, who is one of, if not the, biggest piece of shit in the boxing world (and that's saying something!)
Apparently he's only been banned in certain areas, like you said. I actually saw him on TV not too long ago, wearing that stupid fucking hat of his... As you can probably tell, I absolutely loathe the bastard.

Judging by his track record, there's no reason to believe he didn't. Which is a shame because Pryor was a great fighter and one crazy MoFo, and this hurts his legacy.

Well for starters heres what happened in one of the best/greatest fights of all time will forever give it a question mark?
Arguello at the time of the fight was beating Pryor to the punch and was getting the better share of the punches. If I'm not mistaken in the break of the 9th round Panama Lewis instructs one of his corner men to give him the bottle "THE ONE HE MIXED" well you don't mix water with water.
Lewis stated that he said those words to just give Pryor some type of mental edge to make him think he was suplementing him with some type of substance to give him energy. Pryor comes out of his corner with flying colors and as fresh as a daisy. For the following rounds Arguello lands some of the most brutal punches he had ever landed in his career at one point and this I can sware on I thought Pryors head would snap off. But Pryor didn't even blink took all the shots for at least 3 rds.

Also suprisingly enough the comission forgot to take post urine samples from both fighters. How this happens is beyond me.
