Instead he keeps talking about money and crap that only rappers and kids are impressed with. In my opinion he screwed the pooch... The fight would have had just as much drama without him acting a fool. See he could have talked trash to ODH and said I'm gonna ko him, etc... But his interviews and all the other garbage just made him look like a clown. He was gonna be the bad guy in this fight no matter what, but he could have just been the bad guy in the ring, instead he made himself the bad guy all around. That's my opinion.....
And you can't pronounce yourself as being a legend and get respect. It's like some fool in high school making up his own nickname.... You just look like an a** even if it's a good nickname.
Great point .
I know Floyd was going for the bad guy image to Oscar's obvious good guy but come on.... He doesn't even carry himself as a true champion that deserves your respect and admiration.
Ray Leonard didn't have to run around like an ignorant little child to sell fights he steeped up like and man and said I'm better stronger and faster than this man and i'll prove it by fighting his toe to toe thats all we need as fans the gurantee the fighter will make it enertaining and back up his words
Unlike what PBF pulled in the Baldomir fight.
He set himself up to be hated if he wins or loses DLH fans will say he ran (which he will) and fought Oscar when he was past his prime and should he lose forget it he'll have DLH's name starpped to him like a 10 ton anchor for the rest of his career, lose lose sitution for Floyd
