    Default Mayweather= Con artist

I thought I was watching the Baldomir fight all over again.

I thought Mayweather was the challenger here he acted like the champ

At the VERY VERY least it should have been a draw

DLH wasn't hurt not a scatch on his face and Mayweather had a busted up eye he didn't do enough to earn that split decision

What happened to the massacre? Blood Sweat and tears? I only saw a little sweat

In a legendary mega fight you need to realize that alll that matters is you put on a great show, Oscar came out ready to give the fans their money's worth. Floyd on the other hand came out looking to fight a typical boring defensive fight

You can't do that Floyd!!! You Have to entertain the people here even if it means you might lose, Thats what Hearns did thats what ALI did , Ray Leonard did...

If everyone fought like Floyd Boxers might make a few hundred bucks fighting in a back alley somewhere, it was the greats and legends that stepped up and risked lossing to put on a great show...Floyd will go down as a guy who boxed inorder to get rich thats all.

    i totally agree with u

pbf lost that fight in my book. if i bet money on pbf to win against dlh. i would have gave the money back. and no doubt that the pbf didnt earn his 154 tittle. the fight shouldve been a draw to make pbf earn his belt the way he was supposed to.

Why do people insist on this fight having to be a sluggfest ending in a bloody KO. PBF's boxing skills were on display and Oscar did good to put on a show also. Floyd did not run much other than the early rounds. This was a good, exciting fight and i definitely think it was good for boxing.

i thought the fight was good but people that dont know boxing and only watched this fight cuz everyone was watching it thought it sucked, i think they would have said that no matter what unless there was a KO tho

I think it is rather ludicrous to think that putting on a good show is the boxer's primary objective, and winning is secondary to that.

It's great when they go together but if I were the boxer and had to pick between the two, I'd go for victory first and crowd-pleasing second.

    Mayweather did a fine job.

I agree - i quite enjoyed the fight. However what i can't get over is I can't remember seeing someone take a title off a champ fighting defensively like floyd did. That's how you defend a title not how you win one. DLH should have been allowed to keep his title IMO but it's over now.

I know boxing, I know that Floyd took a belt from the 154 champ by fighting a defensive fight

Usually you have to engage the current champ hurt him and display a dominate performance to take his title

Floyd first promised a MASSACRE!!! He bascially said he was going to stand and trade with DLH (his words)

How does a challenger take a title by backing away the whole fight and bouncing punches off the champs gloves and forearms

PS. He had a busted ye while the champ who was the aggressor didn't have a scratch

Apparently you don't know boxing as well as you think you do. You don't have to engage or hurt a champion to take his title. You simply have to outpoint him. There's no law against scoring rounds even. The advantage a champion has is that in the event of a draw, he still gets to go home with the belt. The job of a judge is to call it as they see it. And two of the three saw Floyd winning. Hence, Floyd now has the belt. Get it?
